(this dose have a bit of gore in it)

"Log number 226, We have to go out to collect more supplies and we might find some new things too" George says to his recorder while looking out the window, to see an abandoned city before his eyes. Hitting his co-worker, James, in the arm he started to pack his bag with rations, first-aid kit and a few other things, he found, then turning back to James hitting him again to get the teen up.

"What?" hissed the green haired teen as he got up starting to throw water on his face and arms.

"Our supplies are running low, and we should get out more or well, at least try to" George states picking up James's bag and throwing it to him. "Hurry up I want to start before it gets hot" He huffs as he un-bolted the door.

"But the heat will keep us safe from The Unknow" James mumbles as he throws his bag over his shoulder. Walking out the door with George, he closed it with a loud thud and turned to exit their camp site.

Walking around James came across a building they have not seen in the distance turning to look around for George, he spots him looking through a car "Look over there George, look at the building!" James yelled to him as he started to run towards him.

"Yeah, we haven't been there yet, looks like a hospital to me" George says squinting his eyes as he tried to get a better look.

"Okay, so let's go there and see if we can get anything, because you like your medicine" James grumbled as he walked towards the building.

"Wait give me a second, I need to get this stuff out" George quickly says as he picked up another bag before stopping in his tracks.

"What's wrong now?" James yelled getting more frustrated.

It was hot, hard, and dirty work searching for things.

"I thought I saw something, but I think it was because I don't sleep well last night" George yells back as he tried to catch up to James.

Getting closer they tried to look for a window to get into the old, rusted building. After twenty minutes they found a window, pulling out their crossbows and crowbars they smashed the window going into a small dusty room.

"Get out your flashlight" George whispered to James as he turned on his flashlight shining it on the walls and shelfs while looking at bottles and cans on the floor.

As George was looking at a dog food can, James walked around trying to find anything that would be useful to both George and him. He opens a large steel door before walking in looking around the room "why do you think this room has a lot of bottles?" James questioned as he walked around the room more. "L-look at this" James stuttered shining his light on to a cage.

"What is it?" George asked James as he walked through the door "If this is a prank I swear to go- oh it's a dog" George says with surprise while walking up to the cage with blood Infront and looked at the tag. "His names Scrap, cool name bud!" He said to the dog as it looked at the two teens from the cage with love and hope in his eyes.

"He's cute, wanna keep him?" George asked James, who was looking back to looking around the room.

"Sure, lets grab him and get home it's getting dark" James replied as he climbed out the window helping George get Scrap outside.

On the way there Scrap ran into the campsite and jumped onto a bed, starting his nap.

"Do we have the space or food?" George keeps asking while he got ready to sleep.

"Yes" James answers as he changed his shirt and jumped in the bottom bunk.

"Night James" George yawned as James hummed in reply.

Scrap watched as his two "heroes" sleeping peacefully before him as he got up thinking up a plan.

George awoke to scrap eating out of a can while he was looking for James. Only to find a note saying that he is out.

While George read the note, Scrap transformed into a pencil-thin man and started to walk up to him before ripping his head off in one movement while blood splattered around the place, before letting the limp body fall to the floor just in time to meet James's pail face.

Shocked James raised his hammer ,that was in his hand, to hit him but got stopped by him grabbing his forearm breaking it. James yelled in pain as the man started to break and bend more bones out of place leaving James's life-less body lay on the floor.

"The job is now done" the man said to the walky-talky walking away letting the building burn to ash.
