Chapter 15

Rippers

Jack and Zack walked closer into the parking lot. They noticed guards standing further in by a guard hut that would check vehicles that came in. In order to get in or have access, you had to go through there it seems. There were seven of them, armed.

The twins glanced at one another. It would be better not to engage. Even though they were confident in their skills, they were only to observe. Not attract attention.

Jack huffed and rolled his red eyes as Zack listened. Sounds and vibrations echoed and bounced all around him. He could hear the pipes all around him in the walls, the sound of electricity passing around him. The vehicles and their different engines on the platforms.

He could hear walking, talking, breathing all around him.

Annoying.

Zack took a deep breath and chose what noise to tone down and sort through the sounds.

This allowed the ripper to receive a mental layout of the particular area. There were about seven floors of this particular parking complex. Each one had security.

Zack opened his eyes and looked up. Four levels above, three below.

The complex was connected to the hotel from the side and you either came up or down to this floor before going through the lobby to enter.

Zack looked at his brother in confirmation to see if he heard the same thing.

Up or down?

Jack shrugged before giving the slightest glance at the ground.

Down seems more interesting

On that they both agreed.

For being the last parking lot on such a low level, it was surely the last lot that persons would want to choose. But it had too much activity. Too much noise.

But considering this wasn't exactly a normal hotel, anything could be possible.

However, it was getting past the guards to get in the complex that was the general problem.

Jack nudged his brother and gestured towards what seemed like a vent in the wall and the two grinned. Maybe they didn't have to go past the guards in the first place.

Zack was the one to quietly rip the lid out, allowing his younger brother to crawl in first. He followed and shut the vent back behind him.

The space was cramped and dirty, the dust and smell bothering their sensitive noses. Yet, they pushed through. They've been in more uncomfortable situations before so it didn't bother them as much.

The two crawled before Jack stopped at the other side. Listening, he couldn't hear anyone.

The two then jumped out. They were inside the lot now and could see all the vehicles that were parked.

"Is that a Lamborghini Reventon?!" Jack couldn't help but whisper in surprise at the first vehicle that caught his attention. Zack let out a low whistle as the two spotted the vehicle.

The two then looked down at their feet, when a sudden crash filled their ears before the unmistaken bang of a gunshot could be heard. On the lowest level.

As much as they wanted to explore whatever vehicles they could find, they also had a job to do.

The two walked until they found the elevators and the door to the stairs. The two silently went down the stairs until they reached the bottom. Quietly opening the door, they exited. Immediately they noticed that this level was colder and darker. Yet not enough that a human wouldn't be able to see.
