The next day.
As it stared at the void that it was its shelter , the God felt guilty for its prophecy.
"There shall not be human sacrifices for my reincarnation." The God wished as it moved its ant limbs. It didn't know if it was dawn anyway , feeling a bit of worry. "I shouldn't have cursed him like that..."
But to its surprise , the man arrived with a sack that seemed to have a corpse in it. He was dragging it rapidly like someone was chasing him from his bad deed.
"I came...like promised." He said , gasping for air. He wasn't hitting the gym very often. He then arranged his glasses while he stared at it.
"He doesn't seem to be as frightened as he was the day before." The God thought as it stared at the sack. It looked strange to it , but it didn't bother to ask.
The prophecy must be completed.
It slowly pulled it , feasting slowly on the corpse like it was its last dinner. The guy simply stared at it , mortified , but at the same time somewhat perplexed by the situation he put himself in, standing there while paying full attention to what it was doing.
After eating the corpse , the God slowly turned into a human , as it felt its limbs and body shortening. He didn't do much though as it was hiding in the darkest corner of the shrine , like it was ashamed of what's happening right now. The reincarnation was complete. As it started to move towards him , Gabriel jumped back slightly , confused. It was 2 inches shorter than him.
"So...no body possession for me?" He asked while praying. It was the first time he did that, probably the last time too.
"No."The God answered in a cold tone, staring at him, while in its new form. The answer still made him feel reassured.
Its skin was completely white , its hair of the same color , long till it reached its elbows , eyes small and black similar to obsidian , its antennas moving agitatedly. Gabriel blushed slightly as he scratched his head. For a God , it did look pretty.
"Thank you...my Lord." Gabriel bowed , hoping he was satisfying his God. "My name is Gabriel , by the way." He moved his hand for a handshake , just to realize he was being too casual. He did see a God just transform into a human...
"I...have no name." The God said as it moved its limbs again and again , seeing if its nerves were working properly.
Though Gabriel felt dread at the time , he still felt a bit of sympathy for it.
"How...come?" Gabriel mumbled as he stared outside the entrance. The sun already rose up.
"Would you like to give me a name?" The question startled Gabriel , moving his face back to it.
"Uh....well...." Gabriel felt his fingers becoming numb as the adrenaline was pulsating in him. He wasn't good with names at all. "You....look like a Bob." Gabriel finally pointed towards it."Yeah...Bob..."
He hid his face with his hands in embarrassment, but it seemed pleased somehow.
"Bob...I....like it." It said as it made an unhinged facial expression, startling Gabriel. Bob immediately changed it back to a monotone one.
"After all of that...what can I really do?" Gabriel asked himself , feeling like he was becoming insane. He was standing in front of a being that was more superior than him...just to give it a bland name like Bob.
"Glad you liked it." Gabriel smiled , trying to hide his paranoia. "We shall go though , it's uh...morning now." Bob only stared at him , not understanding what he said.
"Right....it doesn't know nothing about humanity anyway , gotta teach it things about it." Gabriel rubbed his chin as he noticed Bob passing by.
Its steps were delicate , like it had been human before. As it exited through the now rotten doorframe , Gabriel felt a bit relieved. He felt like he needed some alone time after witnessing all of that , but he still went outside with Bob after a few seconds. It stared at the sun silently , making Gabriel worry slightly.
"Ah..uh , don't do that. Your eyes will hurt a lot if you countinue doing that..." He warned while staring at it. Bob turned its gaze back to him.
"The air....feels...cold." Bob said in pure fascination as it stretched its fingers , just to feel the wind pass through the distance between its fingers. Its hair was fluttering due to the wind. "Is this how being human feels like?" It asked as it moved its hands.
"So it can feel how cold the air is...?" Gabriel thought , as he tried to answer its question. "Shouldn't I...give it my jacket at least?" As he stared at Bob , he realized it wasn't even trembling , making him feel less thoughtful.
"Well.....it's one of the things that make us feel human..." Gabriel mumbled as he played with his fingers awkwardly. "I guess."
Bob seemed to be pleased with the answer anyway as it turned its head back to him. It was suddenly staring at his face , like something about it captivated Bob. It slowly approached him , making Gabriel feel flustered, realizing he was staring at his lips.
"Does Bob want to...kiss me...?" He asked himself as he felt more agitated with each step Bob took.
Once its face was a few centimeters away from his , he understood what it was staring at. His lip piercing...
"Are humans born with such peculiar things?" Bob asked as it pointed towards the labret piercing , making Gabriel slightly giggle.
"N-no...this is what we call 'piercings'." Gabriel smiled suddenly like nothing happened.
"It looks...luxurious...I want one." Bob replied as it kept staring at it.
"You should learn more about humans before you make such decisions. You might regret it later." Gabriel scolded Bob as he looked at it straight in the face to demonstrate how serious it was."So this is how it's going to be , huh..." Gabriel thought to himself as he rubbed his chin again. At least he was working from home so he didn't need to worry about it that much.
