I would really recommend that you go through the characters so that you know a little overview of them before you start the book!
Tamsyn Fontana

- 16 Years Old, timid but tries to act strong for her younger siblings, hates crying in front of people, doesn't like physical touch from people she isn't comfortable with, sensitive on the inside, one of The Guild's best fighters/assassins, has a lot of guilt for what she was forced to do

- 13 years old, Ashton's twin, shy at first but has a bubbly personality, hates the way she looks because Blake instilled in her that she's ugly and worthless, likes to take risks, great at fighting with daggers

- 48 years old, former head of the Italian Mafia, cold demeanor, would do anything for his children, heartbroken when Tamsyn and her mother left

- 26 years old, current boss of the Italian Mafia, very cold towards most people, strict when it comes to rules, demands respect, loves his siblings, the day Tamsyn was "kidnapped" still haunts him

- 17 years old, anger problems, can come off as rude, hates their mom because he wasn't able to grow up with a loving mom, gets panic attacks, only really opens up to his twin brother

- 17 years old, Ezekial's younger twin (by 18 minutes), bubbly, tries hard to be happy for his family, academically bright but you would never guess it because he is always late to class

Arella Bailer (formerly Arella Fontana)

- 45 years old, the mother of all the kids and wife of Francesco, dies in the beginning, was soft-hearted, loved ALL her children to death (and her husband), forced to leave and join The Guild when Tamsyn was three, was super strong-willed, a great fighter, taught Tamsyn, Ashton, & Aspen as much as she could (mostly book and real-world knowledge, since they weren't allowed to go to school).
