Lizzy was tired by the time she got home, She missed her casual morning in the U.S. where one would just wake up and listen to birds chirping and drink a cup of coffee, She craved coffee, go for a morning jog it was so peaceful so relaxing, unlike here, she had to dodge her brothers just to get to her room, can you believe this, even her mom was okay with her sleeping over at Adrien's but her brothers just acted paranoid, whoever wanted an overprotective brother was truly insane.

She heard the door she just passed by creak open "Where are you going?"

She turned around and saw an identical forest-green eye staring back at her with brown baby curls for hair.

"Charles please I just got back" She whined

He took the towel he placed on his neck and wiped his sweaty face and his damp hair, Judging by his tank top and sweatpants he was working out.

"You look horrible," he said looking at her messed-up hair and ruffled clothes

"That's what a girl loves to hear" She gave him a tight smile.

"And you look awful too, Are those sleep bags under your eyes?" He squinted his eyes looking straight at her eyes.

"I had a rough night, please can I just go to bed"

His eyes widened in shock and he started to blush "You don't need to tell me, gosh I didn't know you were capable of doing that before marriage"

She frowned "What are you saying?"

"Don't worry I wouldn't tell Richard, you might be surprised but I'm cool with it, I respect your decision, and you should probably go rest, the gala is only a few hours away"

She looked at him weirdly, too tired to process everything he just said, she didn't have enough night's rest, so she just shrugged it off and entered her room.

*one hour twenty minutes before the gala*

"For the love of God come out!" Anthony said and knocked angrily at the door.

Hayden chuckled at his impatience while adjusting his coffin

"I'll kill her" he grumbled

"Women are supposed to take long when preparing to go out, it's a well-known fact, just be patient"

He scoffed and leaned at the side of the door facing Hayden who was at the other side. "I just pray she's ready by the time we get there" he mumbled under his breath and pinched the bridge of his nose frustrated.

Hayden looked at him, smirking at his royal blue suit, white shirt ironed neatly was worn underneath, he didn't even put on a tie, he left the top two buttons revealing the sliver chain laid on his slightly tanned skin, his hair was tied in a neat bun, but he let some locks to fall on his face.

"Is there a reason why you're dressed better than you ever did while attending the gala?" Hayden asked with a cheeky smile.

Anthony looked at him disgusted with the smile "What are you implying?"

The door flew open and Stella came out twirling "Ta-da" She sang and raised her hands in the air, she was wearing a red strapless gown with a red glove, and she let her dreads down. Anthony felt uneasy with the length of the split before he could say a word, she already pulled Hayden and the both of them were heading downstairs.

"Come on we're going to be late" She shouted after him.
