I pick y/n up from her apartment, and watch as she walks towards me in a smart-casual green dress that made her finger hard glow beautifully. She had a little make up on, and allowed her hair down, as it flowed in its curls, just below her shoulder.
She looks fucking breath taking.
She looks over at me with a large smile and shimmering eyes. I hold out my hand for her, as she gets closer to me, waiting for her to take it. Once she does, I walk her to her side of the car, and open the door for her. She thanks me and I smile back at her.
As I get into the car, I watch her eye me. Her eyes roaming up and down my body. At this I can't help but smirk and blush a little.
"You look Bonita." I tell her.
Her gaze life's to my face and she smiles.
"You don't look to bad yourself." She jokes.
I let out a breathy laugh, as my blush definitely gets brighter.I take us to a quiet restaurant, hidden from the public eye. It's like my little gem. It's my favourite restaurant ever. So hopefully she likes it, just as much as me.
While she swizzles her head around, taking everything in, I take her hand and guide her into the restaurant, making sure to use this time she's not noticing me, by watching her every movement and every facial expression.
Her eyes fall back to mine, and the biggest smile I'm not only plastered on her face, but in her eyes too. It takes the fucking air from my lungs.
As we sit down in the dim light restaurant, she asks what's the best to get from here. I help her and we order our food, and a bottle of wine for the table.
"So how much longer until you've finished your chemistry degree?" I ask, as she takes a sip of her water.
"This year is my last, for the bachelors, but I'm hoping to continue and do a masters, specialising in organic chemistry." She explain, and I'm so bloody confused.
Of course I know what chemistry is and what organic chemistry is, but honestly I dreaded high school chemistry, so I don't see why anyone would want to pursue something in bloody organic chemistry. So she must be so smart, and it intrigues me even more."What type of job will that get you?" I ask.
She hums and thinks for a second.
"May jobs, not even chem related. But I want to go into pharmaceutical chemistry and look into producing different medicines using organic compounds."
My jaw is open, I know it has to be.
"That's incredible." I say, and I truly mean it. Cause wow!As we continue talking and get to know each other, I really hope she likes me, just as much as I like her.
At the end of our evening, I take her hand and lead her back to my car. She leans her back again my car door and I stand in-front of her, pushing some hair behind her ears.
"I had a great time." She says smiling.
I smile back and nod.
"Me too, do you want to go out again sometime?" I ask hopefully.
She smiles and nods, wrapping her arms around my neck and pulling me in for a hug.
"I would love it." She whispers softly into my ear.
Shivers of happiness run down my spine, and my arms wrap around her waist. As we pull back with my arms still around her waist, and hers around my neck, my eyes can't help my move to her lips. When I look back up, I see her eyes have done the same thing.
"Can I kiss you?" I say breathlessly.
"Please." She whispers.
At that I softly push my lips onto her, and feel her melt into me. Her lips taste like the wine, and I can't get enough of it. I smile into the kiss and she deepens it. This is is fucking Devine.—-
I smile and loudly clap as I watch my wife walk across the stage to get her masters. She turns to me, and I blow her a kiss.
After the first date, we went on a few more before she asked me to be her girlfriend. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. 2 years later I proposed at our champions league final after we won, in front of everyone. Then that was the happiest day of my life. Then 10 months later we got married in Barcelona, and watching her walk down the isle and get to call her my wife, became the happiest moment. Every moment with her was and is the happiest times on my life. And now, after 3 years, she's made me so proud, by graduating with a masters in organic chemistry. And I'm trying not to cry.
After the ceremony, I walk over to the waiting area with her parents and Mapi (who has basically become like her sister), and I wait for her.
As she comes into the area, we spot each other at the same time, and the biggest smile appears on her face. It's like time slows as she runs towards me, before jumping into my arms as I swing her around.
"You did it Mi amor. I'm so proud of you." I say kissing her temple, as I swing her around.
She pulls back and smiles widely at me, and my heart skips a beat.
Her smile, her laugh, HER, I'll never get over her, I'll never get over how beautiful and kind and funny she is. I'll never stop getting butterflies every time she looks at me.
She takes my face in her hands, and rests our foreheads together.
"I couldn't have done it without you baby. Te amo, te amo mucho." She says pulling me in to allow my lips to touch her.My baby. My y/n. Mi amor. My organic chemist.
