It's been a few days since Keira and I admitted our feelings for each other, we haven't gone on a date yet, but we are talking a lot more. She will make sure she always sits next to me at every meal time, and now we are always partners for every drill. It's amazing, I couldn't be more happy.
Today was the same as any other day, I was already sat with Leah, Ella and Alessia, before Keira made her way over to us, smiling brightly.
"Hey honey." She says taking a seat next to me.
"Hey love." I say back, smiling over at her.
Keira looks back over to the others to find them in a convo, not paying attention to her and me. I watch as Keira smiles and looks as if she's gained some confidence, before turning back to look at me.
"Would you like to go out with me, tonight?" Keira asks, her voice sounding worried.
A bright smile covers my face and a place my hand on top of Keira's.
"I'd love that." I say back.
I still cant believe she actually likes me! ME! I'm so bloody lucky. How did I ever pull THE Keira Walsh.
Keira smiles at me and nods.
"Yay. I'll book us a table."
After sometime training and then some downtime, I start to head to my room the get ready for tonight. I only put on some light makeup and a casual dress. I smile at myself in the mirror, trying to gain some confidence. Because fuck me, I'm about to go on a date with Keira. The girl I've had a crush on for ages.
I head down to the hotel entrance, where I find Keira already waiting. She's got her hair up in a ponytail, while she wears a pair of jeans and a really nice leather jacket. Fuck she's hot.
She smiles when she sees me making my way over to her.
"Hey beautiful." She says taking my hand.
"Hey Keira." I say back.
"Let's go, shall we?" She says, before leading me out the doors.
We walk down the street fora little bit, admiring the dark, lamp lit streets, while we make small talk and joke. She's literally the easiest person to get along with.
We finally arrive at a restaurant that served Japanese food.
"I remember you talking about how you love Japanese food, so I thought this would be a good place." She says, worry and hope in her eyes.
I smile up at Keira, I can't believe she remembers what I like.
"This is amazing, thank you." I say before walking inside.
The night went amazing, Keira is such a genuine and kind person and I love to be around her. Every time she gave me a compliment I would get flustered and have to look away. I hope she enjoyed the date as much as me.
Just as Keira goes to pay, as I stand next to her, we hear a rustling from behind us. My head whips around, and I quickly get a glance at someone hiding behind a wall, in the restaurant. No way, it can't be. I walk off to find the person, while Keira finishes off paying. I turn the corner to find none other than Lucy mother fucking bronze standing there, in all black.
"Lucy, what the fuck?" I say, causing her to turn around and widen her eyes.
She looks so guilty, like she's been caught, because she has. And I just stand there, with my arms crossed, raising a brow at her. Keira quickly finds me and as soon as she sees what I'm seeing, she groans.
"Lucy? What the hell? What are you doing here?" Keira asks.
Lucy looks down at her feet before back up at us.
"I wanted to check up on you two. See how the date was going." She says smiling sweetly, trying to play it off.
"Sooo, you were spying on us?" I say blandly.
Honestly, I find this so funny, but I can't let Lucy know this.
"Lucy, I told you that I didn't want you coming with me. This is a date, between two people. There is no need for you to be here and third wheel hiding behind a wall and ease dropping in on our conversation." Keira says, before talking my hand.
I smile down at our hands before looking back up at Lucy.
"I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to offend you or make it seem like I'm a weirdo who has nothing better to do than to spy on her best friends date. I'm sorry." She says looking completely guilty.
I smile and let out a laugh.
"Lucy it's fine, I think it's funny. But please don't do it again." I say before being Lucy into a hug.
She smiles at me and nods.
"Well, shall we head back now?" Keira asks.
I nod and take her hand again, Lucy following behind us.
Once we get back to the hotel, Lucy heads back over to some of the others, while Keira and I take a seat away from everyone, on a beanbag together.
She looks over at me and smiles brightly.
"I had a great time tonight." She says, caressing the back of my hand.
I smile and nod.
"Me too. I would love to do this again sometime."
Keira nods and leans in closer.
"I'd love that." She whisper.
My eyes look down towards her lips, before back up at her eyes. I catch her doing the same and smile.
I decide to take a leap and hope for the best.
"Can I kiss you, please?" I ask, my voice coming out as no more than a breath.
Keira wastes no time, before she smashes her soft lips onto mine. It was magical. Her lips modelled perfectly into mine. The way our lips moved together in sync was like no kiss I've experienced.
As the kiss continues we suddenly hear gasps and cheering coming from the other side of the room. I smile and Laugh into the kiss as I hear Lucy cheering the loudest. Keira smiles too before pulling back, looking me in the eyes, before looking over at our friends.
"Seriously guys?" She says smiling.
Lucy just stands up, running over to us and pulling Keira in for a hug.
"You finally kissed her. You've only been talking about kissing her for a year now! Fucking finally it happened." She cheers, lifting Keira up high into a hug and spinning her around.
I laugh at what Lucy just confessed and see Keira look over at me and her face redden from embarrassment. But before I can say anything, Esme speaks up.
"Oh don't worry Keira, Y/n is the exact same. She's had a massive crush on you for AGESSS, it's so annoying sometimes having to hear about you all the time. You know that text message I had to read out. That was about you." Esme says smiling.
Lucy squeals in excitement, while my mouth drops open. Why would she expose me like that. Fuck I'm embarrassed.
"ESME!" I shout.
She just smiles sweetly over at me.
"Sorry babes." She laughs, with some of the others.
I groan, and sit back down as Lucy puts Keira down and Keira makes her way back over to me. She just smiles at me, before taking a seat next to me and putting an arm over me.
"Don't worry about it baby, now we're just as embarrassed as each other." She laughs.
I smile and chuckle.
"We have some idiots for friends, don't we?" I say snuggling into her.
"We do indeed." She laughs before kissing the side of my head. "But it's also these idiots that pushed us together."
I smile and nod into her. "I'm so grateful for that."
Keira moves her head and I look up at her because of the movement. She looks down at me and smiles.
"Me too." She says, before bringing me in for another kiss.
