Germany (and a glimpse of her family)'s Eyesight

Germany's eyesight is pretty shit. Not only is she far-sighted, she is also colour blind. Specifically, achromatopsia, aka she literally can not see colours. This colour blindness comes from her grandfather (HRE, not Francia), and got inherited to Nazi State.

And for you biology nerds, no, none of her parents have any sort of colour blindness. But, both of them are carriers. And before you blast my comments about how only females can be carriers and that there is no such thing as male carriers, you're thinking about the wrong type of colour blindness. Achromatopsia is inherited through an autosomal recessive manner.

Prussia is a carrier of that achromatopsia genetic shithole because of his father, as you can read in literally the first paragraph. Then, how the hell is Brandenburg a carrier, and how is Nazi State also completely colour blind?

You need to remember that Brandenburg and Germany's ex-husband are uncle-nephew. Yes these sets of cousins are weird. But anyways, the two are carriers, as Thuringia got that gene from his mom, who is also a carrier. And Brandenburg (alongside Saxony and Thuringia) got that gene from the most recent common ancestor with England (yes, Germany's related to her).

And this common ancestor was human, so no one's sure about the gene going further back or no. But for HRE's case, it actually started on him. For some reason he got cursed by his other self (West Francia, aka Kingdom of France), and not only did parts of his genes change and is now colour blind, he can turn into a non-human (as human a Personification can be), and has not one, but TWO extra pair of limb-like appendages.

Same transformation effects can be said to Germany and Nazi State. Only difference is that the two's colour blindness were inherited, while HRE got, well, fucked up by himself (in a sense).

And for some reason, people never noticed any of the three were colour blind??? They hid it well, and it's not like Germany ever noticed something different about how she sees the world compared to others until like... after the Napoleonic Wars. Same can be said about her noticing her (unfortunately) son's eyesight. Brandenburg just found it weird and didn't give much thought to it, and only suspected it after the mid-1940s.

Until now, only Brandenburg among all of her states knows (suspects) of her colour blindness.

Oh, and both HRE and Nazi State are also far-sighted. Everyone else who wears glasses (in the current era) in her family for sight problems, not for any sort of fashion sense they chose, are all near-sighted.
