A Personification can have human/non-Personif parent(s). Simple, really. Those that have one or two human parent/s are commonly older than the others, being at least 1000 years old or even more.

Merging is the act of combining or re-combining two or more Reprents into one. Re-combining, as in the two (or more) used to be one person but was split previously. The reason could be some sort of unification or reunification. Most of the times, those who merge aren't related to each other. If they are (or are previously the same person), the side effect mentioned won't affect them. The side effect is constant headaches .

If a Personification's two (or more) original hosts have different biological sexes, they can genderbend.

See, there are several reasons as to why a Representation might split. It can be due to some inheritance aspect, or maybe even a civil war, and maybe even a state emerging from the former. The only way to split is to either be merged in the beginning, or to be one person and split due to the reasons written above.

Splitting has some side effects, such as scars representing them, and mental health problems. If a Personification is to split a bit too much, it would take a toll on their mentality, though it wouldn't effect those who has ties to the lands as much as those whose ties are towards the government and the people.

Another would also be memory loss for certain parts of their lives, always something traumatic, so maybe this would be a good way of forgetting something these humanoids hated so much. This memory loss could only happen if the trauma was recent (under a century), and so it would not make a Personif forget a millennia old trauma that they had.

A splitter can read each others' mind if they are within a five meter radius between both of themselves.
