Lover ~ Lucy Bronze

Part 1

Ellie's POV:

Its a sunny Monday morning in North London and im so excited to start at my new club, it also makes me feel better knowing my bestfriend Alessia is also starting at arsenal today.

I climb in my car; a black range rover, something i feel so lucky and privileged to have been able to buy and lowkey have to pinch myself every time i see it on the driveway. I dont know where ill be living yet as we find out today who our housemates will be. Jonas likes to have groups of us living together, he thinks it helps with team building as-well as having people who have the same diet and lifestyle as you, helps us keep on track and focused, apparently?

As i pull into the arsenal training ground i feel my anxiety creeping up on me, I know its totally normal to be nervous about this so i try to take deep breaths and calm down and I ring the one person i know that can calm me, Alessia.

" hey Els, are you almost here" she says.

"yeah i just pulled into the car park, where should i meet you?" i say

"perfect ill meet you at the entrance and we can walk in together" she says

"thank you, ill be 2 seconds" i say and hang up.

I get out the car and make my way over to the blonde standing by the doorway and give her a hug. We are then shown around by a member of the coaching staff. After the tour of the training ground Jonas comes and brings us to the changing rooms where he introduces us to the rest of the girls.

"hi im Katie" she says coming over with way to much energy for a Monday morning at 7am. Then leah comes over, shes stunning, no picture does her justice.

"hi kid, im leah but most people around here just call me le" she says pulling me into a hug.

"hey, ill keep that in mind, love your trainers by the way" i say, desperate to make a good first impression, plus i did actually like her trainers.

"thank you, ill send you the link for them later, heres my number" she says putting her number into my phone. i can tell me and her will be good friends. While im saying hey to everyone, a disheveled girl comes bursting through the door. Its Lucy Bronze.

"im so so sorry for being late Jonas, i had to take Narla to a vet appointment that id totally forgot about until this morning" she says immediately after walking through the door.

"its okay Lucy, life happens, just make sure u let me know if your going to be late again" Jonas says. Lucy puts her stuff in the locker and makes her way over to m and less. Everyone has carried on talking to each other.

"hi, you must be Ellie"  Lucy says, looking me up and down, seducing me with her eyes.

"i am, you must be lucy" I  say smiling at the most gorgeous girl i have ever seen in my life that was currently stood in front of me giving me the 'come to bed' eyes.

"that's me" the brunette replies.

The conversation is cut short by Jonas announcing he is going to be telling us who we are rooming with.

He goes down the list:

"in apartment 226 it is, Beth mead, Viv, Alessia and caitlin foord."

"in apartment 306 is, Ellie, Lucy, Leah and katie"

Lucy smiles over at you.

There isn't any training today as today was just an induction day. so we all grab lunch from the canteen and make our way to the apartment's. Im on the way to my car when i feel a tap on my back, i turn to see its lucy. 

"so how are you feeling about all of this, you know moving to arsenal" she says, now walking alongside me.

"im feeling good, im so excited to get started, aswell as making new friends" i say smiling at her.

" i think we will get along really well Gray" she says putting her arm around my shoulder.
