Lover ~ Lucy Bronze

Part 4

Its the same day as the last part and training was normal, International break for the national league is coming up soon. Ellie is hoping to get a call up but she isn't  hopeful as she wasn't picked for the world cup squad. Even if she isnt picked, it means she can concentrate on the WSL starting on the 1st of October.

ELLIE POV:

Training is finished and it went really well, all the girls are lovely and Beth is hilarious, shes literally a golden retriever in human form.

"hey ellie, the girls are talking about having a movie night at ours later, i was wondering if you wanna come" Alessia says.

"of course, ill be there lessi" i say to her.

"okay great , bring leah,katie and lucy too" alessia says.

"okay no problem, text me the details and any snacks you want us to bring" i say before heading to lucys car. Lucy opens the passenger door for me again which makes me smile, shes so thoughtful. i text the other girls to let them know about the movie night and they all say they are coming. I didnt text lucy because i just told her in person.

Once we are home lucy rushes out of the car and opens my door for me.

"you know you dont have to do that lucy, its really cute, but you dont have to" i say to lucy.

"its fine, i like doing it" lucy says following me to the apartment.

Its a couple of hours later and alessia texts me to let me know to go over to her apartment for the movie night.

"GUYS ITS TIME FOR MOVIE NIGHT" i shout out my bedroom door. Katie comes running towards me and jumps on me. "YAY MOVIE NIGHT" she screams. i laugh as i am dragged to the floor. "your such a child McCabe" you say still laughing. "sorry i just Love movie night" she says wrapping her blanket around her. Leah comes out of her room looking very confused as to whats going on and why im on the floor. She just laughs and shakes her head.

Luckily Alessia,beth,viv and Caitlins apartment is in the same buildingas us so we dont have to walk far. Once we get there alessia gives me a big hug, ive missed spending time with her.

Me, Beth and alessia all put the snacks into bowls in the kitchen and carry them through to the living room where everyone else is sat on the sofa.

"so what movie are we thinking?" beth says, putting the popcorn down on the table.

"MAMA MIA" Katie shouts, everyone else agrees. I sit down next to lucy in the corner of the sofa and we share a blanket. Katie is sat with caitlin, Leah is sat with alessia, next to me and lucy. And beth and viv are sat together.

"why dont we play truth or dare, get to know alessia and Ellie more" Leah says.

"thats a good idea" viv says.

"ill go first" caitlin says. " okay truth or dare" leah says. "dare" foord says.

"i dare you to ring one of the teammates not in this room and say, why did you call me?" leah says. caitlin picks up her phone and calls steph catley. Steph is so confused "what do you mean foord? you called me?" she keeps saying until caitlin tells her that its a dare and then steph hangs up.

"Ellies turn now" Beth says. "truth or dare" beth says with a cheeky look in her eye. "truth" i say.

"do you fancy anyone on the team" beth says, knowing exactly what shes doing. "yeah" i say. Everyone gasps. 

"I KNEW IT" alessia shouts. 

"WHO IS IT" viv asks. 

"woah guys, that wasnt the question, its katies turn".

The rest of the people who haven't had a turn yet go. then we decide to watch the film. Its about halfway through the film and im cuddled into lucy and her arm is around me, i can feel her hand squeezing my thigh, it had been rested there since the movie started. I feel so safe in lucys arms. I can feel myself getting more and more tired.

LUCYS POV:

Ellie is cuddled into me, i keep looking at her to check on her. I notice she has fallen asleep. Its almost the end of the movie so i dont bother waking her up. I see beth nudge viv and point at Ellie before looking at me. Im not sure if anyone else has noticed but i dont really care. I know we are taking it slow but i wish i could shout it from the rooftops that shes my girl. I feel so lucky to have her.

Once the movies done everyone decides to head back to the apartment. "shouldnt you wake her?" Alessia says. "its okay ill just carry her, its only down the hall anyway" i say. Alessia smiles at me. 

"make her happy lucy, please, she deserves the world" alessia says. 

"dont worry lessi, ill give her everything i can, she wont ever be harmed as-long as im around" i say to alessia. I then carry Ellie back to the appartment and tuck her into bed. Before leaving the room i kiss her on the forehead. Im just about to leave the room when i hear, "Lucy" i turn around and Ellie is now half awake. "yes angel" i say to her, she looks stunning even with bead head. "can you sleep in here tonight?" she asks me. 

"of course i can" i say. I climb into the bed, im already in my pjs as i went to the movie night in them. Me and Ellie cuddle for the rest of the night. Tonight was perfect and i cant wait for more nights like this with my girl.
