LUCY'S POV:

Its the the day after i told Ellie how i felt. Im so glad i told her and she's willing to give us a go. Some might think its too soon to be confessing your feelings to some one that you only just met. But after my ex, i thought id never have feelings for anyone again. That's how i know she's special, she gives me butterflies, and there's no way im going to risk losing her.

ELLIE'S POV:

Ive woken up this morning with a fuzzy warm feeling in my stomach. Even though me and lucy have just met, we have known of each other for years and have obviously played against each other when i was a United.

I climb out of bed to get a coffee before i head to training, i dont usually eat breakfast before training because im never hungry when i wake up, so i usually just have some fruit when i get to the training ground. Leah and katie are in the kitchen already, gossiping about katies girl drama.

"morning girls, did you sleep well?" i ask them both, pulling out a stool in the kitchen. Leah shoots katie a look, trying to hold in laughter.

"yeah i slept good thanks did you?" leah asks me.

"yeah i was flat out" Leah tries but fails miserably at holding in her laugh. "im sorry, but am i missing something here?" i ask both of them.

"I didn't sleep here last night" katie says putting down her coffee cup and making me one.

"where did you sleep then?" i say, still clueless.

"apartment 226" she says sliding my cup of coffee over to me, not making eye contact.

"alessia,beth,viv and caitlins place? why?" i ask.

"a certain Aussie was feeling lonely" leah says teasing katie.

"and on that note, ill leave you girls to bond over braiding each others hair " katie says leaving the room. As she leaves Lucy's bedroom door opens and she comes to join us.

"hey pretty girls, how are we on this glorious morning" Lucy says.

"why are you so perky at 7am in the morning" Leah says.

"just in a good mood i suppose" Lucy replies, smiling at you while making a cup of coffee.

"we have training in an hour so we better hurry up" leah says. We all get up to get ready for training.

Im in the middle of getting dressed when Lucy comes in my room. Im stood there in nothing but my training shorts and sports bra.

"Hey do you have a spare-" lucy is
cut off as she stops in her tracks " whoahhhhh, hey sexy girl" she says her face lighting up.
" i could get used to this" she says.
I roll my eyes at her.

"what was it you needed?" i ask trying to find my training top.

" i was just wondering if you have any deodorant, mines literally just ran out" she says coming over and wrapping her arms around my waist.

" yeah in my bathroom, top drawer" i say laughing, eventually finding my tshirt and pulling it on.

"thanks darl, i can drive us to training if you want, theres no point in us both taking our cars, you know global warming and all that" she says with a cheeky smile.

"global warming? seriously? Thats the best excuse you have? you know u can just say you wanna drive with me" i say laughing at her.

"okay fine, do you want me to drive you to training or not smart arse" she says.

"yes lucy i would love that" i say walking over to her and wrapping my arms around her neck. Lucy kisses me on the forehead.

Once we are both ready for training i meet lucy at her car. She opens the passenger door for me and closes it behind me. She's the sweetest. To my superise she actually lets me play my music in the car. Lucy's hand is on my thigh the entire 15 minute journey and she only takes it off to change gear or turn the indicator on.
