LUCY POV:
I hear a text come through my phone, snapping me out of my thoughts. The message is from Ellie, shes asking where i am. I need to talk to her, i cant keep something like this from her if we are going to work. I want to be with Ellie, i still care about keira but we didnt work out, and we broke up for a reason. I text Ellie back, "meet in our room, i need to talk to you x". I hit send and make my way to the room.
ELLIE POV:
I read the message from Lucy and my heart drops, i have no idea what she wants to talk about. Have i done something wrong? Has she changed her mind about us? A million things run through my head as i walk back to the room. When i get to the room Lucy is sat on the edge of the bed. "hey, what did you wanna talk about?" i ask her, sitting down next to her. "okay i dont want you to worry, but i need to tell you something because i cant keep it from you if were going to work" she says looking at me. I nod my head. "So i lied this morning when i said i went on a walk. i got a message from keira asking me to go to her room because she couldnt sleep-" she says before i cut her off, "wait isnt she your ex? why would your ex be texting you if she cant sleep and inviting you to her room?" i say. "let me finish please, when i got there she basically told me she misses me and wants me back" lucy says. My mouth drops. "I told her that i was with you and that i needed time to process what she was saying, which is why i lied this morning because i needed to think about how i was supposed to tell you and how i was going to let keira down without hurting her too much" She says. We sit in silence for a moment.
"so what are you saying? Your not getting back with her are you?" i say. "no of course not Ellie. i want to be with you" she says. "Then why would you go to your exes room, when she couldnt sleep? You must still have feelings there for her?" i say looking down at my hands.
"No it wasnt like that i promise Ellie, i still care about her of course but not like how i used to." she says and then lift my chin up so im looking at her. "I care about her but i love you Ellie Gray" she says looking into my eyes. "I love you you too Lucy Bronze" i say before kissing Lucy.
