Ellie's POV:
I hear the bedroom door close, thats what woke me up. I initally thought im late to breakfast but wondered why lucy hadnt woken me up. I check the time 6:40AM. We dont even have to be awake for another 20 minuets, so why is lucy already up and ready at this time?
I decide to scroll on my phone until its time to get up. Just after 7, Lucy comes back into our room. "Oh hey, where have you been?" i ask her. She freezes for a moment, which i thought was odd.
"oh just on a walk, i couldnt get back to sleep" she says not even making eye contact with me. "oh okay, you alright Luce?" i ask her. "Yeah im all good, dont worry" she says putting her hand on my shoulder and she kisses my forehead. "ill meet you downstairs for breakfast yeah?" she says before leaving the room quickly. Something is up with her, i can feel it.
Lucy POV:
I cant belive i just lied to Ellie. I have no idea if it was the right thing to do. But i dont know how i would tell her without me processing this situation first. Im falling for Ellie but i care about Kiera and i dont want to cause more hurt than i already have. I take my breakfast outside and eat on my own to think about everything.
Ellie POV:
i make my way downstairs for breakfast,i cant see Lucy anywhere, so i sit with Leah,alessia, hempo and Kiera. "hey Els, did you sleep okay" Lessi asks. "yeah i guess" i say before eating my toast, i dont really wanna talk to anyone because i dont even know whats going on myself. Kiera keeps looking at me but then when i look at her she looks away immediately. whats up with her?
"you okay Keira?" i say to her. "yeah why?" she says defensively. i just leave the conversation as she clearly isnt having a great morning.
" does anyone know where Lucy is?" i ask the table. " i dont know i havent seen her today" Leah says. "Awh missing her already are we?" Alessia says. i nudge alessia while laughing. "you should know where she is, thought she was your girlfriend?" Kiera says abruptly as she stands up and walks away. The whole table notices it. "whats up with her?" hempo says. "whats with the attitude, Lucy isnt even my girlfriend, just for the record." I say. "shes probably just having a bad day" Alessia says.
I shake it off and send lucy a text. "hey where are you? x" i hit send.
