Part 13

LUCY POV:

2 hours has passed and Im so happy that me and Ellie got to talk about the keira situation. I hated lying to her. But now i have to talk to Keira, and im scared that it is going to cause more hurt. Not much has happened today other than general training.

Im walking back into the building after the training session. "hey where were you this morning" Hempo says as she catches up to me. "i was eating my breakfast in the outdoor seating area" i say. "is everything okay?" she says. "yeah, just have some stuff going on at the moment, but ill figure it out hempo" i say as we enter the changing area where we keep our football boots. "okay Luce, im here if you wanna talk about it though" she says smiling at me. "Thank you" i say.

I need to talk to Keira as soon as possible, she was avoiding me in training and its not good for the team if there's tension between people. I notice keira about to leave the boot room so i go up to her, "hey can we talk later please?" i ask her. "sure, just message me when your ready" she says back. I nod my head and she leaves the room.

We have the rest of the day off now that we have finished training, so i go back up to the room as Ellie has to stay back and create content for social media. Once im back in the room i send a text to Keira. "Im ready to talk, my room is 205". I hear a knock on the door 5 minuets later and i open the door to find Keira standing here. "come in" i say. We both sit on the bed waiting for the other to say something first. "Keira, this is really difficult for me to do because i dont want to hurt you, but we broke up for a reason, it didnt work then so it wont work now" i say. "We didnt even try long distance though Lucy, we dont know if it will work or not, we just broke up without even giving it a chance" she says, tears filling up in her eyes. "Keira, if we were meant to be we wouldnt of let go of our relationship so easily, ive moved on and im happy, its time that you did too" i say wiping a tear from Kiera's cheek. "Please Luce" she says, her eyes now streaming. It breaks my heart to see her like this, it brings back all the emotions and feelings i used to have, but i know Ellie is whats best for me. We stare at each other, neither of us knowing what to say. Kiera leans in and kisses me. Just as she does i pull back "Kiera what the hell are you doing-" i hear the door creak, Ellie. She is stood at the door for what feels like forever but it was probably only a few seconds, just looking at me in disbelief. "Ellie, i swear i wasnt-" i start saying before being cut off. "Save it Lucy" she says before turning and walking back down the corridor.
