Lover ~ Lucy Bronze

Part 9

Ellie POV:

We all finish our dinner and Millie sends a text to the team group chat to let everyone know about the games night. It was starting at 6:30 and its currently 5:30 so we had an hour to kill. So me and Lucy decide to go back to the room to chill. My head was starting to hurt, i think a headache was starting to come on and its making me feel dizzy.

"I need to reply to my emails so im gonna get that done before we go back downstairs" Lucy says and opens her laptop before sitting on her bed.

I dont even properly hear what she says because my head feels so fuzzy. Lucy notices i dont reply and looks at me lying on my bed. "hey you okay?" she says. I shake my head. "My head feels all fuzzy and the room is spinning, i think i need a nap". I pull out my phone and set an alarm for an hours time. Lucy moves herself and her laptop over to my bed. "Lay your head here" she says tapping her chest and outstretching her arm so i could cuddle in. Once im comfy in her arms she pulls her laptop onto her lap and finishes her emails. Lucy draws circles on my arm and just before im about to fall asleep Lucy kisses me on my forehead.

1 HOUR LATER:

I wake up to the sound of my alarm. I open my eyes slowly to find that im in a different position. My head is now on Lucys Lap. "hey sleepy" Lucy says. I smile at her. "how did i end up with my head on your lap?" i ask lucy. "i went to go get you some medicine for your head when you fell asleep and when i came back up i moved your head onto my lap so i didnt move u too much and wake you up". I look at the medicine and glass of water on the bedside table. "your the sweetest" i say leaning over and kissing Lucy. "take your medicine, we need to go down stairs" she says getting up from the bed.

Once we made it downstairs we were the last to arrive in the games room. I sit next to Lucy and on the other side of me is Mary Earps. In the middle of the games room is a big circle sofa, thats where all the girls are sat.

"This circle seat is giving cult vibes, i feel like were about to start casting spells or something" i say, the girls laugh. " only you would say something like that Ellie" leah says shaking her head.

I lay my head on lucys shoulder as the medicine hasnt fully kicked in yet. I catch lessi smiling at me but i dont care because the room is currently still spinning. "okay were gonna play Never Have I Ever if the person thats being asked has done it they have to drink out of there water bottle, it should be alcohol but were on camp so obviously that means it cant be" Millie says rolling her eyes jokingly. "we will start with Leah and go around in a circle" rachel says. Leah was sat next to lucy.

"Never have i ever forgotten my football boots on match day" Tooney asks. "BORING" Alex greenwood shouts. "no never, thank goodness" Leah says and laughs. Now it was lucys turn.

"okay im making this game more juicy, Never have i ever Kissed a teammate" Alex says. I lift my head off of Lucys shoulder to see her reaction. She takes a drink from her waterbottle. Everyone gasps, followed by everyone shouting "WHO" and "TELL US". Lucy laughs "thats not the game guys, my lips are sealing" . "yeah and there also on someone elses lips apparently" Mary says laughing.

"okay Ellie's turn" Alessia says wanting to move the conversation away from lucy because she knows im the one lucy kissed. "Never have i ever fancied a teammate" Katie Zelem says. Lucy hands me her water bottle because i forgot mine, everyones mouths drop when the realization hits them. "NO WAY" Hempo shouts. "Guys calm down, its obviously me Ellie fancies" Tooney stands up and flexes her muscles.

"WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN" Millie says. " ummm i dont recall that being the rules of the game" i say laughing. Everyone else takes there turn of the game and its getting late by the time everyone has had a turn and im starting to get tired. Lucy puts her arm around me and whispers in my ear, "you look knackered". I look up at her and say " i am". Just before Lucy is about to announce that we were leaving, Millie says " lets call it a night guys, we have training bright and early tomorrow". Everyone agrees and stands up to go back to there rooms. I stand up way too quick and i start going light headed so i hold onto Lucy, she notices what is wrong and says "here get on my back" she bends down and i jump up. She carries me back to the room on her back.

Once were back in the room we both get ready for bed, I fall asleep in Lucys arms, I have never felt so safe in my life. I can feel myself falling for her more and more everyday.
