I happily walk back into my apartment, letter in hand. I kick the door closed behind me, while i struggle to open the white envelope without ripping it too bad. It's a letter from my pen pal, Seo Changbin. A couple years ago I signed up for a pen pal event thinking nothing of it, once I got matched with Changbin we hit it off instantly. I would look forward to his letter every week, and eventually I caught myself falling for him. His flirty jokes, his humor, his personality, the way he's so caring, everything, I fell for everything.
Eventually I manage to open the letter and I start reading the contents of the letter.
"My Dearest Y/n-nnie
As I mentioned in my letter before, I'm going on tour with the rest of my group soon. What you don't know is that I'm going to your state, better yet, your city!
We've known each other for years and I was wondering if you would like to meet at that cafe you were raving about awhile ago. I know this is sudden but I can't wait any longer to see your beautiful face.
By the time you get this, I'll probably already be in the US. So meet me at the cafe on mm/dd at 4 pm, your time :) Of course I'll understand if you don't show.
I look forward to (possibly) seeing you, Y/n.

I look at the time and date. "Oh, shit- That's today!" I scramble around my apartment, frantically trying to get myself ready. I try on multiple outfits, some were too fancy, some were too casual. Finally I settle on something I think is perfect.

I fix my hair and makeup and look at the time. "3:49, I'm gonna be late!" I mentally curse myself as I bolt out the door and to my car.
------------time skip and Changbin's POV---
I bounce my leg nervously as I wait for the person of my dreams to walk through the doors. Everytime the bell on the door jingles I shoot my head up, to my disappointment it's not them. I don't know exactly what they look like, except that she has h/l h/c hair and e/c eyes. In my mind, she's already stunning.
I check the time on my phone again. '4:06' I start getting anxious. 'What If she doesn't want to see me?' I sigh. The bell rings again and my head shoots up. I see a girl looking around frantically. 'H/c hair, e/c eyes.... my Y/n,'
Her eyes meet mine and her face lights up with a smile as she rushes towards me. I stand up and open my arms. Her smaller frame crashes into my body. I laugh and wrap my arms around her tightly. "I'm so glad to see you!" She says. Her voice, oh god her voice. I could listen to it all day. "I'm glad to see you too. You're even more beautiful than I imagined," I say back, holding her tighter. She looks up at me but doesn't say anything.
"Is something wrong?" I ask and she shakes her head. "No, I'm just admiring," My heart skips a beat. She smiles and my heart melts. 'God I love them...'
---------Time Skip----
We sat down and had coffee while talking about anything and everything, but now were walking around a nearby park while the sun sets. The park is quiet and calm, and being with Y/n makes it even better. She spots a bridge over a little river, grabs my hand and pulls me along. I can't help the stupid grin that takes over my face as I feel her hand in mine. This girl has me whipped for her.
She leans over the edge of the bridge to look at the fish swimming in the stream below, a small smile adorning her face. I can't take my eyes off of her. She looks up at me and smiles. "What?" She asks while laughing a bit.
-------------Y/n's POV-----
Changbin smiles at me and shakes his head. "Nothing," He says as he turns his attention to the sunset in front of us. It's quiet for a moment while we both take in the view. "Y/n, I-" Changbin starts to speak before he gets cut off by a distance voice. "Changbin Hyung! Come on, Chan says it's time to eat!" Changbin turns towards the voice. "Coming I.N-ah!" He shouts back. He turns to me and comes closer. "Y/n, I love you." He says.
My face heats up. He moves closer and presses a kiss to my cheek before turning and running towards the figure in the distance. I stand there, starstruck. I place my hand over the place he had kissed, wanting it to stay forever. The sun completely sets and the world gets darker. I decide it's time to head home.
I put my hands in my pockets and feel something in one. I pull it out and see a little piece of paper. I open it and see a number, Changbin's number on it with a heart. I smile to myself as I continue home.
