The sun begin to rise as the day begins with Aurora and him running for their lives as the Black Raven gang lead by one of the commanders, Karasu. He begins to shoot ice magic on the gang members which most of them dodge it while the few were frozen by the ice blast. They ran in the Heavenly Lilly Forest, suddenly an arrow was launched by the stranger or in case the dryad. The arrow hit the shoulder of one of the chasers, black lightning storm across the forest as Kristin watched as Ian in his dragon form open his mouth to unleash the lightning, damn it Ian. He didn't expect Ian to find them so quickly and unexpected as this is never his style, riding on him is Olympia and Lance, two other good friend of his.
Lance throw his spear to strike the members, Olympia opens fire as Ian lowers down to see and attack them better. Kristin and Aurora roll out of the way to see Ian's scary, but angry death look. His dark red to black scales shimmered in the sun, but his pissed look never goes away. Baring his teeth at Kristin. He pinched his nose in annoyance, Ian is a hot head to the T. He will lose his shit whatever that happens to his family and yes, his friends.
"Ian, look I'm sorry that I never told you that I was heading off to Blood Empire along with Aurora. Ok, it was a mistake, I shouldn't tell you this sooner rather than later. Maybe I was stupid, but fucking curiosity killed me you know right" Kristin objected. Ian roared at him, letting him know, he ain't buying. Kristin feels the emotions running rampant, he needs to get this out of his heart. Letting all of his emotions of how he could've saved Julia before she become a "puppet" to the dark queen, he fails to confess to Kia that he was scared to admit that he loved her and felt that she never loves him back. He couldn't do all for that because, "Ian, I'm scared to lose everything that I love and wanted to protect," he choked.
His eyes slightly soften, Lance and Olympia hugged Kristin as he wept. Kristin is a man who knows how to keep a cool and collected head out of others. He looked up to see Ian's tight face looking away at him. He ruffled his hair of a little as Kristin sniffed a little.
"Look, I'm sorry how lashed out at you for a dumb reason. I couldn't believe that the only reason you went here is because your exam. I get it, your stressed about the exam."
"I know, I am. A man is who is a little diligent about their work. Hey, how did you find us?"
His wide eyes give him a thing that he is going to tell a lie. Ian is a goddamn terrible liar, he is a man of his words and open up about his problems to his friends or his family. "Kristin...how should I put this? My alpha powers kicked in when an alpha, a new one more specifically speaking," Ian explained. Kristin tilt his head in confusion, Ian just pinch his nose.
"Ok frosty let me explain, when a new alpha is here all other alphas will feel a jolt of pain in their body. The more alphas there are, the less painful the jolt is. We alphas, can't pinpoint who is the next alpha is, but we can guess who will be the next alpha by their magic potential. It seem how that the new alpha is here in this forest."
Lance and Olympia looked around the forest looking for the new alpha. "Hey Kristin, do you know where is the next alpha is," Lance asked. Kristin tighten his lips by that question almost as if he is exposed. The three of them looked confused while Aurora looked down on the ground. Kristin extend his hand as the ice markings covered his arm.
Ian, Lance and Olympia gasped as the ice markings become more visible in his arms and watched as markings of black and dark blue covered his face, his hair is lighter and his eyes become a cyan color. Well, they found the alpha, just not the person they ever expected.
