Mr. Carter lead her to the guest room, it was simple, but way more comfortable than sleeping on the ground of the forest all the freaking time. Closing behind to give her some space in the room to feel at home; she looks at a pendant on the counter. Stepping closer to see that the pendant looks identical to hers, but with a blue dragon on it. How did Mr. Carter have this pendant? Glancing around to see a tiny keyhole on the right side of the dragon pendant, hastily pulling the drawers to find a key, to open the pendant.

Nothing. All of them are empty.
Wait, something is off.

Pulling the bottom right drawer to see a safe with a different lock hm a four digit code. Lucy thinks about what could the code would be, wait there is a million codes to think about. Peeking around to see a calendar right to the bathroom, flipping through to see a red circle on Mr. Carter's birthday, May 27th. Typing the code in to the safe to see that she was wrong after turning the lock. Ok, let's try another code. Grabbing the calendar to flip through to find any clue about the clue. Finding another red circle, but this time it's the wife's birthday.

Pondering about the woman she saw in the portrait and that woman looks so familiar, was that his wife? If she is, Mr. Carter is a lucky man. Typing in the wife birthday to see that the safe is still closed. What is the code, she thought. Flipping through the pages again, come on there's something in the calendar that she can use to make the damn safe open. Then, she thought about her own birthday. Typing in the code to see the safe is unlocked, so her own birthday is the password good to know.

Inside is a tiny key, perfect this might open the lock. Turning the key around to hear a click, opening up the dragon pendant to see the picture of the woman and Mr. Carter, though they look younger. Something falls on the counter, picking it up to see a little piece of paper. Unfolding it to see a letter from someone named Clementine.

Folding the paper to see Cameron behind her. Accidentally, dropping the pendant onto the ground. He looks like the pendant with eyes widen.

"How did you, did you open the pendant," he asked. Lucy try to lie, but she nodded her head. Lucy is a terrible liar according to Ian, Cameron shove her away to see the letter with his mouth dry.

"Lucy, I always notice that you stared of this woman in the photo, right?"
She nodded.
Cameron sighed, "that woman is mine and Luciana's mother, her name was Clementine," he answered. Unsettling silence filled the room, that woman is Mr. Carter's wife and Cameron's mother. Then, this letter was written before she disappeared.

"Lucy, I'm sorry that I called you little sister. Jordan wants to do a blood test on us to see if the rumors are true about you as the missing daughter of dad," he joked. Her lips were tight with uncertainty, this world is so new to her and she needs to find a way to adapt within her whole life. Cameron notices her stiff reaction.

He leaves Lucy to give her space unless she is ready to do it. She text Ian to meet her at the park where he takes her to the city. Getting dressed in a simple dress, she waited Ian to pick her up, a black Ford car pulls up to see Ian with a black jacket and same color jogging pants. Her eyes wondered towards the muscles and light colored scars decorated his arms. Ian explains that all the scars he earn through brutal combat, battles and even wars.

Lucy was horrified to hear that all of the alphas went to war several different ways like out of necessity or pure duty. Ian admitted that all of the alphas have more than ten scars on their body, he had no reason for having scars. The park was called Saint Bella because of the church of Bella standing in front of the park.

"Ian, should I take the test? I wanted to know if I'm an orphan."
"Do you have a reason? I mean, you can wait for a while. It's your choice."

Ian's words sink Lucy down, all of this is her choice if she wants it or not. She decided to the test, doesn't give a damn about the consequences for anyone. She called Jordan for the preparation of the blood DNA test.

The hospital was massive to her, stunning white halls perfectly contrasted the black building surrounding the hospital. Entering in to glaze through the nurses working on the patient, the head doctor was waiting for to lead them to an empty room. Holding her breath as the doctors sample some of her blood and Carter's blood.

"Well, it will take a few minutes for us to analyze because the newest generation of DNA tests technology, please wait here so you can see the results."

Lucy texted everyone who she has a contact with the news of the DNA test when it was done. She can feel her body trembling as the time slowly ticks away. All of this will need to see if she was really Carter's daughter after all these times thanks to her giving him the letter that Clementine wrote to him. The doctor was out after 30 minutes of agonizing waiting.

"Mr. Gonzalez, Lucy the dryad is indeed in fact your own long lost daughter after 12 years and Cameron she is in fact Luciana Gonzalez. Not only that your mother is Clementine, Lucy."

Lucy holds her breath as Carter and Cameron holds her that she is an angel in disguise. She couldn't believe it she is the missing daughter, she finally found her family after all this time. Weeping to hug both of them, now she thought about Clementine. Where could her mother really be?
