(Kristin)

Kristin and the others notice the empirical building, one of the two buildings that hold refugees inside for the walls. The station must be located below or near to it. This is a calm before the storm, hearing the sound of motorcycles coming. Don't have the time to be on cloud nine, rushing in the stairs to have explosive on the side. Jumping out of the way to see the stairways explode, sprinting to escaping the blast, just barely.

Scrambled away to hear gunfire afar, shit they don't have much time and much cover to be safe. Kristin stopped at two ways, the shorter one and the longer one both ways they lead to the train station. If they don't want to get chase, well they have two choices to go to the longer route if means losing the Red Wolves or the shorter to get through the train much more quicker. His friends look at the shorter way, maybe this gamble will be something. Glancing at Ian, he nodded.

The footsteps grew louder and louder Kristin doesn't have much time, "Ian take Aurora, Lance and Olympia with you in the shorter route. Me and Lucy will go the longer route. Whatever you do Lucy, stay with me," Kristin advised. Lucy grimaces, eventually she nodded. Kristin watches as his friends bolting through the black entrance, disappearing into the shadows, praying that they will be safe. Kristin halted for a moment, styled Lucy's hair to fit a command device to communicate the others if they were in danger.

(Lucy)

She can feel the bizarre technology on her ear, feeling the freezing sensation of metal and loud beeping when it connects to her ear. This is entirely new for her, all of her life as far she can remember, she can always feel the warm, lust grass and flora around her. Will this metropolis be the same feeling? She would imagine factories, pollutions and other industries would harm the nature she wants to be protected. Walking towards the dim station, she decides to talk with Kristin about this new world she will walk into to explore her new life.

"Kristin was it like to live in Victoria Grace metropolis?"

"Oh, it's filled with companies that think about nature above everything else along with the people. I mean eighty percent is protecting nature thanks to the Nature Protection Act in 1847. Also in the metropolis is a lot of hospitals and schools to that. It's a perfect place really compared to Blood Empire, where everything is destroyed by corruption and everyone who meet is either is a son of a bitch or an ally," he explained and snickered. Lucy's eyes shot up, wow the rumors of Victoria Grace is far more different than she thought.

She wonders why Blood Empire become a city of despair. She has so many questions, but she tapped at Kristin's shoulder. "The note must say that I must keep my dryad powers a secret because...I was threatened by a man of the Campbell court. That man was Arnold Campbell."

His eyes wide open, Alexander's father threatened Lucy. He can see dryads too, no doubt Alexander can see Lucy too if his dad can see his dryads, he thought. Pushing his lips hard to this revelation. He pounder that Alexander's ancestors threatened other forgotten creatures like dryads hundreds of years ago or maybe thousands, if that is the case then, no wonder people hated the court in just under a month or something else that makes the court so weak.

Someone cause a ruckus in the court, exposing the truth about the world. Lying to the people about the information it was given to them, protest pushing in the streets and most importantly, corruption in the government. That person is Gabriella Raelynn, the court's closest ally and personal friend of Alexander. Suddenly, fire begins to spread across the route. Shit, they followed them.

Kristin and Lucy bolted off as the Red Wolves followed here, reloading their guns to kill, more exactly, him. Kristin has to think something fast, he can use Frost Alpha sure, but the sword has a weakness towards fire. Fighting back will be useless here, there literally sixteen men against two people. They will be captured, probably sentenced to death by Alexander. He doesn't have anything to have them.

Wait...maybe violence is not the answer. He does have something, pray to the gods that might worked. They see their friends entering the train, something is wrong.

Oh...

Oh shit.

The train is not running.

Shit, this might be his only shot to escape. Patting within his core is the Alpha within, he only mastered how to conceal it, but this time he needs to unleash it. All six of them were trapped in a death trap, ready to die. Guns pointed at them, his claws grew and the ice markings crawl on his skin. He shown them he is an alpha, the savior of this world.

He would expect them to fire at them anyway because they are loyal to Alexander. They instead kneel before him. Is it out of fear, probably yes.

"Alpha, we are so sorry to target you."

"So, what was the reason you decided to kill me specifically, if is money...I will execute all of you myself," threatening them by summoning massive icicles. Trembled in fear, they shakily answer, "it was of the utmost importance of the government to thrive," Kristin snarled at them. One of them grabbed his jacket, whispered spare me for my wife and son. Moved at a young man in brutal cuts, he patted him on the head.

"Your spare, but we need you to do something." Standing up to leave the others behind to burn in the ashes. The train begins to show the headline Victoria Grace. It zoomed behind the burning station never to return again.

They escape this cat and mouse game. Now, it's time to break the Campbell court altogether, bringing the people towards prosperity, peace and justice.
