Bonus chapter: Betrayal

Isabella glanced over the Campbell court meeting table; they have never been this silent before. They will have lavish parties all over the court and the house, but after Flare Ivy is confirmed to be dead; everyone whispered about Stella's family crime they committed. The Ivy were the family that controls the money inputs of each city in Hope Redfield. Now they are discovering that the Ivy pocketed their hard earned money for themselves. They stripped almost of their wealth and influence from the court.

Dark dahlias family were the family who has to be dealt with medical and pharmaceutical issues. With both of their families gone and the Raelynn family is absent, the court is scrambling for substantial relief and replacements. Not only that they need to deal with the Dark-dahlias family for their crimes. Even though Stella is in a coma about four months now.

Isabella's family Sea grave are in fact one of the weaker families along with the other families in the court too. They need power to balance out in the court. Suddenly, her family is the court of security. All of the pressure still mounts into her shoulders, she doesn't know about the security situation. She is good at planning, money and trade deals. Clicking a folder in the computer to see hoards of documents of other groups. The Raelynn family never mentioned about the other factions that are fighting for freedom.

One of the documents reveals one of the other factions called Unity that faced the Campbell court. 20 years ago, Unity was founded by one of the....Campbell supporters. Holy shit, it turns out that the Campbell lied that their members are loyal to their leader. However, this is another lie. She starts to question if the Raelynn family knows this, most likely yes. How did Stella got into a coma and Flare being died?

Someone is intentionally destroying the court, most think that Stella killed her. This isn't Stella doing, it's the Alpha of rebellion...Hikaru Yuki. The court wants to destroy her, but the problem is she is an Alpha. You can't harm the Alpha or tell them what to do. Seriously, this girl knows how to make the Campbell court fighting each other seem easy. Isabella soon realized that she will the next target for Hikaru. Thinking quickly as light footsteps echoes her mansion; she grabs a gun from her bed to defend herself. Then the door slowly open to see knee high combat boots, Hikaru Yuki.

Hikaru opens the door, her black hair with purple fades makes her easy in board daylight. Hikaru is the youngest alpha out of the eight being only at fourteen years old, but she is considered to be the most dangerous alpha to cross paths with due to her methods. Tapping the table with her finger for Isabella to point her gun at her. She blinks for a second; Hikaru vanished into thin air. Suddenly, she can almost feel cold metal next to her neck.

Her eyeballs rolls up to see Hikaru's face come to view. The heterochromia eyes of scarlet and navy blue stare back at her dark chocolate eyes. She forgot how to breathe as Hikaru slowly pushes the knife to her neck. All she can do is wait for Hikaru to kill her and left her to die in this spot. Instead, Hikaru withdraw after sighing in disappointment.

Isabella breathed as the knife graze her neck a little bit. Her head forced to glance upward by Hikaru's boot to see her laptop being hacked. Wait, was she planning this the whole time?

"Poor Isabella, you were caught at the right time. You were never made for this role at all, I'll give a chance for you to live another day," Hikaru taunted. Isabella can't even tell if she is lying or not. The mastermind twirls the knife dangerously close to her hand as she waits for a deal. Each minute feels like an eternity as Isabella feels the knife underneath the mat.

Hikaru smashed her fingers by her boot to make her obey rules. She wanted to scream, but has to calm down if she wanted to live. "Now, I want you to join Unity because there are missing someone knows to make deals. You're the perfect person to do the job. Betray the court for a new era." The words feels like the sky has crashed into her, the court is manipulating her to make her feel bad and humiliate her family for so long. She...agrees to the deal. Letting Hikaru grab the important documents and opening the door.

"If you want to know what happened to Flare, I made Stella kill her in the first place."
