(Lucy)

She looked at the girl with a blank look, her posture was like royalty from a foreign kingdom, but her glowing purple eyes stares at her with curiosity and awe of her existence. The girl place a hand on her own, they were so soft...just like mother. The girl revealed her name to be Aurora. Lucy rubbed her finger she knows that name by the rumors that she hears through the forest. Aurora is the Grand Princess of the dawn and the most powerful kingdom in Dynasty Grove, Daylight Morn.

She was supposed to married the prince of the Twilight Kingdom last year, but a mysterious assassin murder him and blame the Midnight Empire for Oscar's assassination causing the downfall of the empire in just five days. To make things complicated, no one knows who was the assassin that killed Oscar. Lucy followed Aurora to a cabin in her forest that she created. Opening the door to see the inside she is familiar with thanks to having uh magazines that were drop on the forest. The girl decided to sleep while Lucy sleep on the couch thinking about defying the code that the royal commission gave her when she escaped that horrible nightmare.

The next morning, Lucy wakes up to hear someone cooking. Opening her eyes to see a man with dark skin and raven black hair walking in the kitchen. It was early morning, standing up to see the man in front of her up close and personal. As she gets closer, she might realize that the man looks rather handsome in the sunlight.

He was much more taller than her five foot seven height probably six foot, he wears an eyepatch on his right eye for whatever some reason and he wears a shirt with no sleeves revealing hard muscles and light color scars.

She counted ten on each arm, he is a warrior. A dangerous, but sexy warrior. Wait did the gods she said that in her head? Her cheeks burns as the man stares at her. He has a piercing, angry blood red eye, almost as he can read her fear and soul. Her body freeze as the man arched his brow at her. His thick frown on her, either by confusion or anger. Feeling with the thought of something terrible will happen to her.

All of her life as she remembers, she never meets people outside of her forest, living big cities...they put it where they live with. She usually saw the woman in the forest and rare occasions people walking in the forest for camping trips. It's been two years to someone in person to talk with and feel comfortable around other creatures, she wanted to learn this modern world and have adventures she ever wanted.

His aura was powerful, he is a dragon. How could dragons can shape-shift into human form, she thought. As she learned from the Knowledge of Dragons, extraordinary powerful dragons can shape shift into human forms. She only reads the first five pages of the book, she wanted to learn more about dragons. The man leaned for his muscles to budge together, and doing so making his scar more visible.

Her curiosity was that dragon mark on his left forearm, was that a scar he earn or something else? "I can tell that your body is curious about me," he answered. His voice was flat, but there is a hint of annoyance edged in.

"Yes, I am curious. You know Aurora?"

He nodded, this man knows Aurora what she guess for a long time by his slightest movement for his lips turning upward. "I look cruel and mean yeah but, I know Aurora for fifteen years. I'm her childhood friend," he answered again. He is being cryptic about Aurora's history with him. She wanted more information on Aurora and his past, but it is best for her to play safe and gain his trust first along with the others by hearing people waking up. He got friends, well that's great for her. More uncomfortable communication with them.

"Well? Aren't you supposed to introduce yourself or your going to keep staring at me," he growled. She squeaked, the man pours something into a frying pan and begins to cook. "Where is my manners? I'm Lucy. Just...Lucy."

He nodded again, is this how he responded to her? "Ian," he answered.

Ah, his name was Ian. "That's a handsome name," she mumbled. He just giving her the look of a mix of confusion and a little bit of anger on his face. Covering her mouth to figure out what she said, did she called him handsome?

That can't be right?

Is it?
