The strange new world

The city was beautiful and massive with tall buildings and people walking in the sidewalks. Exploring the place will be a nightmare, but luckily she has Ian with her at all times. Through the window of the Darkeye mansion, she never knew about how incredibly rich and famous the Darkeye family is. The Darkeye family is the fifth powerful family here in Hope Redfield, in fact she learn that are seven families who have alphas.

Three of them are considered as the Alpha family while the other four are pseudo-Alpha, not fully alpha families, but close enough. These alpha families are the Voltron, Rouge, Yuki, Garcia, Darkeye, Harris and the Roberts. Hearing the door open to see Ian...shirtless without noticing her. She could feel her cheeks burning so bad, all those intense muscles and all those battle scars made him more handsome hands down almost as if he is an ancient warrior.

Looking away to see the city to distract herself from him, she can't fell in love with a person she barely knows. That will be stupid...right? The city....I wonder what it has for me to explore, she could feel tap by Ian on the shoulder. He was so close to her face that she nearly pushed him away, but his scent was intoxicating. The smell of oak leaves and ginger.

"Hey, are you going to get dress or not?"

Snapping out of it, she nodded. "Oh right, you have my clothes in the bathroom yes?" Ian groaned, "yes come on, I'm going to be late for the final exam preparation session." She nodded.

Staring at the dress for a moment in the dress made her a little insecure, it was a simple, short dress in dazzling blue with gold trimmings of vines decorated the skirt of the dress. The bodice was simple enough to see her shoulders. If she has to be honest, she would wear something like this to a party. Why would she needs to wear this? Oh wait, the exam. Of course, how can she be so naive.

She turns to see a woman is similar looking to Ian, but she has black eyes instead of the red eye that he has. Running away from her to a column to protect herself, but the woman just stood there.

"Uh, hello there," she squeaked. The woman give her the softest smile she ever seen. Almost feel like...mother, hesitating she walked towards the woman.

"I can tell your not a people person. I won't hurt you."

"Um, you just look like Ian, miss."

"Everyone tells me that my son is almost a identical male version of me," she lightly chuckled. This made her confused, who is this woman? "My name is Cassandra, Ian's mother." Her mouth parted to learn the truth, reminding of Ian excusing politely to Cassandra to meet his son. She smiled softly.

Walking down the stairs to see him in a simple t-shirt and jeans. She heads to come down to see him looking at her. Keeping herself compose, she greets him. All the while looking at his scars, just how many he has? "I'm sorry, now shall we?"

The sunlight glaze upon Lucy, Victoria Grace was filled to the brim with people and technology she never knows about. Feeling like in some fantasy land, but her stomach grumble. Their time is breakfast, however Ian recommend someone to show while he was busy to get the preparation ready in this small technology.

"Hey, see that Cafe over there? You'll meet this person."

Nodding, she quickly heads towards a little cafe called Quiet Blossom. Entering in is the cafe interior was decorated with flowers of different kinds and colors. This made her remember the time she was in Greece while walking in the open fields. To her right, she can see a man with purple that fade into black hair with the same eyepatch as Ian. Sitting across to see the man a little more closer, she soon realizes that the man she meet with while escaping the city.

"Well, Lucy. I don't think I introduced myself, I'm Lance."

Reaching her hand to shake his was nerve racking to her. The only people she can talked to comfortably are Ian, Kristin, Jackson Voltron and Aurora. Lance notice her shaking that him a hint she is never a people person. "Yep, Ian is right, your not a talkative person. Hey, are dryads reclusive like in the stories," he asked.

"Yes, we are reclusive when not around other dryads or most male creatures. Around dryads or any female creatures along with male creatures if we are comfortable around them, we are pretty social."

He nodded. Lance looks be around Ian's age, fair skin with multiple scars, strong body, and a strange ring above his head along with massive ebony wings. "I can tell you might be curious what I am? Well, you known a wolf thanks to the furry friends and a dragon thanks to Ian. I'm an angel." She nodded to this, hm I wonder what will this city brings for her to see.

Walking in the city feels surreal to see massive companies of protecting nature and ecosystem, that makes her joyful. Lance explain the sightseeing experience of the metropolis, each sight more exciting. After fourth five minutes of exploration, they are at the park to regroup about something. Lance won't tell her why he needs to regroup for Ian. Lucy decided to explore the park for herself and curiosity, each tree was covered in red, orange and yellow leaves.

Dancing with the gentle breeze dance her brown hair and the dress. Accidentally, she bumped into someone, two other people follow suit. Lucy open her eyes to see two boys and a girl in front of her. The boy she bumped into was wearing all blue with white, the next one was wearing purple with black and the girl was wearing a green jacket over a pink shirt, same color skirt as her jacket, black leggings and boots.

Who are these people? What do they want with her?
