(Lucy)

The house was a lot more bigger than she thought. It has many rooms and crooks with many family pictures of Mr. Carter's family, one picture is really interest her is a woman with blond hair and pink eyes. Her hands as the same tree bark like Lucy and having the pink eyes though her eyes shine brighter. Is this Mr. Carter's wife before she disappeared? Her attention switches when she glance to see a young man with the same blond hair as the woman, but he has Cater's eyes walking down on the stairs.

She notices that the Gonzalez family is a wealthy family, most likely, a descendant of a grand duke judging by the paintings across the living room and kitchen of the buildings of Palace Crest-heart and Castle Butterfly. The house is comfortable for her to stay for now. This always feels home to her.

The boy haves her a curious look to her, feeling that everything is staring at her. He has that stare that she always notice in Mr. Carter always had when he first met her.

"Dad, why did you bring the girl here? Mom, say that-"

"I know. 'You always bring strangers in the house for dumb reasons.' Cameron, I just want the girl here because the other families I asked are working on the preparation for the exam coming up soon and she is lonely. Jordan suggest that she will live with us."

Cameron glared at Lucy, but his expression soften a little to see her pink eyes. Lucy bites the inner skin of her lips a little bit. Being stared by other people makes her really uncomfortable and question her whether leaving her home in the forest was a good idea or not. "Dad, she looks like our little sister," he pointed. There is again, being called for what a millionth time? Everyone in the city say that she is the daughter of Mr. Carter.

So yeah, little sister is a trend now around their neighborhood right now. Lucy finally decided to get some answers from both of them when they like it or not. She can't stand it anymore by these questions about why she looks like Cater's daughter or Cameron's little sister along with the woman's daughter. "What do you mean I look like your sister, I mean I don't even know who all of you are and we aren't related, " she shouted. Both men looked at her with widen expressions, Lucy tighten her jaw, this is the first time that she ever shouted. This is so uncomfortable for her to gain the attention of the men is by shouting.

"Lucy you just...remind us of my daughter before my wife left. I always feel something around and I don't know why is that the case. Do you want to talk about my daughter?"

Lucy crushes her mouth, but she nodded. Now she has the answer about the truth.

Sitting by the couch with a cup of tea in her hands, Lucy decided to wait for Carter or Cameron to talk. Seeing both of their shoulders slumped down means that they are not really comfortable to talk, a strong lump dropped in Carter's throat and licking his lips. Eventually, he starts speaking.

"Well, just before my wife disappeared...she gives us a baby girl. My god, we are so lucky to have her."

"What was her name?"

"Her name was...Luciana."

Lucy thought about this for a moment, that is a great baby girl's name. The name...she looks at the necklace for a moment. Ian give her this because he thought is was a little bit of a gift for her to wear. To her, it is a momentum for her trust on him. She feels like there is something more than just trust. Ian wants her to find her family. Snapping back to listen Carter.

"Sorry. I was looking at something, so um what happened to your daughter? How did she disappeared?"

He bites his lips.

"When we head to the fields of lilies, a man appeared with a gun. He fires some rounds to scare us, it did. Cameron, finish the story I...need some time to get some fresh air."

Cameron nodded, Carter left the conversation with sniffing. Her full attention is on Cameron, "we were running so bad that we couldn't see what was going on. There were people killed sure, but Luciana was gone. My god, I never seen dad crying hard."

Soften her fingers a little bit, she walked towards Cameron and hugged him. It was a small gesture, but she couldn't help but feel sorry for them.

"Cameron, I have this necklace with me. I can't open it."

Dangling on her hand was a sliver locket with floral designs. Cameron looked shock that Lucy have it even though she has no idea what's inside. If he has any idea what is this necklace means and who owns it, then maybe she can find her family after all. This is the lead she needs to find out if she was really an orphan.

"Where did you got that necklace," Cameron asked.

"I got it from Ian, why?"

"That's the necklace that Luciana has before she is gone. How come you can't open it?"

"You guess is good as mine, I just...really don't know why is it locked or maybe the locket is locked after all."
