My heart shattered as my arm wrenched
The gaping hole closed
Closing my heart from the world forever

My heart spilled out onto this page
You died because of me
My recklessness, stupidity
Now my blanket at night is your jacket
That still smells a little like you
Of cigarettes and
Waffles
Everything I love about you
We never got the chance
To realise
But I hope that you know

Flowers grow
