In the demon realm, Amity and Luz walked to Amelia's house, after Amity got a call from Boscha.
"What do you think is the problem?" Amity asked.
"I wish I knew." Luz said, shrugging. "But maybe they'll explain once we get there."
"And hopefully it's nothing too bad with Skara." Amity said in slight worry.
They arrived at the manor and knock on the door, waiting a few moments before Amelia's step mom opened the door.
"Hello Amity." She said before she looks over and sees Luz, "Hello, All Powerful Titan. If you're here for Amelia, she's in her room."
"Thank you but please, just call me "Luz."" Luz said with a small sweat.
'She'll never be used to everyone worshiping her. At least she still humble.' Amity thought.
"Very well, All Powerful Luz." Amelia's step mom said, moving aside to let Amity and Luz inside.
They went upstairs, Luz noting all the plants growing everywhere.
"Woah, how long has this place been abandoned." Luz asked.
"Actually, these were here long before they became puppets." Amity said, gesturing to some plants. "Amelia is in the plant track for a reason, her family has been involved in plant magic for longer than Belos was around."
"Wow, so she literally has family roots since the Covenless ages?" Luz asked in awe.
"Yes." Amity said with a nod.
They arrived and the door opened, revealing Amelia.
"Glad you could come." Amelia said, munching on a cookie.
"What's the problem?" Luz asked, taking off her hat.
"Wait, that thing comes off, I thought it was apart of you." Amelia said, looking at the hat.
"Amelia, focus." Amity said.
"Right! Right! Come on in, Boscha's here too." Amelia said, letting Luz and Amity inside her room.
Once she got them in her room and shut the door, she began to explain the situation.
"So, I was at Skara's house, and the place is filthy." Amelia said, "I... I don't entirely know what's going on, but I know there is a room that she is VERY protective of."
"How protective?" Luz asked
"Skara doesn't resort to violence often." Amelia said, "She didn't hesitate to defend that door to her last breath."
"So she's hiding something in her own house?" Luz asked.
"And we don't know what. Amelia also said she saw no sign of Skara's parents." Boscha added.
"That's not good." Luz said, before getting a phone call, "Ugh, really? I'll be back in a second."
Luz went into the hall, putting the phone to her ear.
"What is it Vee? I'm trying to help someone." Luz said.
"Okay, so, you know Tracey? The girl that got possessed?" Vee asked with caution.
"Yes, I was there." Luz said, slowly nodding.
"Well... she used a plant glyph!" Vee said with a rush at the end.
"WHAT!?" Luz shouted in shock.
In her shock, Luz accidental gave off a shockwave of magic and created spiderweb cracks around her as the mansion shook like an earthquake!
"I don't understand it either!" Vee said, in a panic. "She just pulled it out and destroyed a mirror!"
"Well how did she do that!?" Luz said, still in shock and somewhat shouting. "Last time I checked, I'm not in the human realm right now, without me, glyphs won't work."
Suddenly both realized something... if Luz wasn't there... that means Camila was getting stronger... she wasn't supposed to get to the point that she would be able to activate glyphs, at least, that's what Luz thought.
"Vee, until I get back, I need you to make sure Tracey doesn't use any other glyphs and check on mom." Luz said quickly.
"Got it! I'll tell Masha, they can help." Vee said.
Luz hung up and groaned, dragging her hands through her hair.
"Can't things be simple for once?" Luz said to herself.
"Simple doesn't always mean better." Amity said, peaking out from the room.
"How much did you hear?" Luz asked.
"From the part were you wanted Vee to keep an eye on your mom." Amity said.
Luz sighed, hating how she had enhanced hearing but couldn't hear her girlfriend listening in.
"Things are getting crazy there, and my mom might accidently be the cause of it." Luz said.
"Want to talk about it?" Amity asked.
Luz looked down, taking a deep breath to calm down and refocus.
"Her blood has been gestating for a while, her titan powers aren't what we thought they were, they're getting stronger." Luz said, holding her hand up and creating the plant glyph in her hand. "To the point that humans can use glyphs in the human realm."
"What? But how?" Amity asked in surprise.
"Tracey, that old bully of mine." Luz said to her, undoing the glyph and rubbing her temple. "I don't know how she knows the glyphs or for how long she had known about them but this just opens up a whole new can of worm. Like what if she's known about them for who knows how long? Has she told her friends about them? And what exactly has she been doing with them!?"
Luz let out another magic pulse, shaking the mansion as Amity stumbled a bit.
"It's just-It's just-IT'S ALL JUST...-! "Luz screamed and pulling her hair as she turned around, getting work up before slowly calming down. "...Crazy."
Amity slowly approached Luz, hugging her from behind and helping her calm down as she let go of her hair.
"I know it's crazy but we've all faced crazier things before." Amity said, nuzzling Luz's cheek with her own. "We'll find a solution and make sure nothing worse happens."
"I just... I feel like I'm being pulled in multiple different directions, right now." Luz said, leaning into Amity. "I'm trying to fix the Isles, trying to help Amelia and Boscha, trying to figure out who did... that to Cat, and now this... I just don't know how much more I can take."
"Don't worry, I don't think it can get much worse." Amity said, suppressing a chuckle, "Even though you do have a long list of people that want to kill you."
"Thanks, Amity, what a wonderful girlfriend you are." Luz said, sarcastically.
It did make her smile a bit though, so it was working.
"I know I am. And someday, I'll make an even better wife." Amity said, kissing Luz on the cheek.
"I know you will." Luz said, breaking the hung and interlocking her hand with Amity's. "Now let's see what we can do about Skara."
The two went back into the room.
