In the demon Realm, Cat was in her hospital bed, looking at her hook and wooden leg. Aka her new limbs that were custom made so she could "walk" again.

"How do they feel, ma'am? Are they comfortable?" The healer asked, watching Cat closely.

Cat stood up, nearly falling down after spending the last month in a hospital bed, and the previous near three having no control over her movement. The Healers helped her stand, but she just kept looking at the leg.

'At least it's not a peg leg.' She thought.

The prosthetics at least looked realistic and actually matched her skin tone a bit.

"Can you fully stand?" The healer asked.

"Just give me a moment." Cat said, taking a breath before standing up straight.

She used the hook hand to hold onto a railing and used it to steady herself.

"Okay, please take a few steps forward." The healer said, moving slowly away from Cat but not too far.

Cat took a small step with her normal leg, letting out a small breath, before using her wooden leg. She stumbled a bit and fell down.

"Ugh! Damnit." Cat muttered as the healer helped her up.

"It's natural you have trouble with them, just give it time and you will be able to adjust to your new limbs." They said.

Cat doubted that, she was a healer, how can she heal when she has a sharp blade for a hand?

"And the hook?" Cat asked.

"It's mostly temporary since we did not have any other type available. I apologize for that." The healer said.

'Great, from future healer to fish market worker.' Cat thought.

"How much longer is this physical therapy session?" Cat asked, wanting to just go back laying down.

"Not much longer." The healer said.

Cat sighed as she stood herself up again, trying again to walk straight and stable with the doctor giving some help.

She was doing horrible. She tried walking but overdid it and slammed her shoulder into the wall, letting out a pain filled hiss.

'Damn... that hurt.' Cat thought.

The healer went to help her up and placed a healing patch on her shoulder.

"I think that's enough for today, Ms. Cat." The healer said

Cat didn't say anything. She just nodded to the healer as they helped Cat back to her room.

Cat got back in her bed and just laid there.

"Do you need anything before I go?" The healer asked.

"I'll be fine, I just want to lay her for a while." Cat said, looking away.

"Alright, by the way, you have a couple visitors." The healer said before leaving.

Cat looked over at the door, and saw Amelia and Boscha, holding a box from the sweet shop Skara liked.

"Hey, Cat." They said, walking up to her.

"Hmm." Cat hummed, nodding to them.

"We see you finally got your prosthetics." Boscha said as she examined the arm and leg.

"Yeah, real fucking improvement." Cat said blankly.

Amelia and Boscha shared a look.

"We... brought you cookies." Amelia said, "They're almond, you're favorite."

"I'm not hungry." Cat said, looking away.

"Cat, you haven't eaten... since BEFORE the Day of Unity." Boscha said, "They had to put an IV in your arm because of how dehydrated and starved you were."

Cat just shrugged her shoulders, ignoring her hunger.

"You know, my family finally decided to show up." Cat said, changing the topic.

"That's great." Amelia said, hoping to lighten the mood, "How'd it go?"

"They said I looked horrible, that me having missing limbs and scars on my face will ruin the family image." Cat said, "They're lucky I didn't have my hook then, otherwise I would've impaled them with it."

And suddenly, the mood was killed as Boscha and Amelia winced from that.

"Oooooooh...sorry to bring it up." Boscha quickly said.

"You didn't know, it's fine, but it at least makes me happy about one thing. I'm not going back to THAT house when I get out of here." Cat said as Amelia offered her a cookie, which she took with her good hand. "I'll live on the fucking street if I have to."

Boscha and Amelia glanced at each other as Cat bites roughly onto the cookie.

'There is no way we will let that happen.' They both thought, planning to ask their parents if one of them could allow Cat to stay after she gets out.

Though, from how Cat seemed to be, that would be a while.

"Anything new?" Cat asked as Amelia gave her another cookie.

"Yes but don't freak out about it." Amelia replied.

"Try me." Cat said, aggressively eating another cookie.

"Skara's parents have actually been dead since the Day of Unity, she's kept them in her mansion in homemade coffins, and now she's been adopted by the owl lady and Raine Whispers to be temporary guardians." Boscha said in one breath.

Cat just remained quiet and ate her cookie. But inside, Cat finally realized why Skara had ran out from her last visit and didn't come to see her since. She just kept munching away on her cookie.

"Cat, can you please talk to us?" Boscha asked.

"And talk about what?" Cat asked, wiping her lips of crumbs.

"Anything other than personal shit." Boscha said.

"Well, I don't know what to talk about. I haven't seen anything going on outside since the day I took the blast for you, Boscha." Cat said, "Had I known what would happen, I would've thought of another way to get you away from that thing."

Amelia and Boscha shared a look, at least she didn't say she would've let Boscha take the hit.

"Okay, we get it, things are tough, but we're here for you." Boscha said, "No matter what."

Cat closed her eye, not wanting to look at anything.

"I spent months being played with, then tossed to the side like a broken doll when he was done with me." Cat said, "Now I really am a broken doll, all because of that bitch that did this."

Amelia suddenly thought of something.

"Hold on, Cat... did you see who did this to you?" Amelia asked.

"Barely, they were covered by a cloak, the only thing I could see was an evil smile, lips covered with purple lipstick."

Amelia went pale... well, pale for someone whose complexion is the same color as snow.

"Babe?" Boscha asked, seeing Amelia like that.

"I only know of one person there that had purple lipstick." Amelia said, getting up, "I need to call Luz!"

She ran out of the room, scroll in hand, but it would seem that either Luz's was in a dead zone, on silent, or was dead, because it went to voice mail.

"Damn it, Luz!" Amelia said, "Where are you!?"

"Amelia, what's wrong?" Boscha asked.

"I know who did this, it was so simple, I don't know how I didn't see it before!"

In the woods, the hooded figure walked into a hidden shack, smiling widely. She took off the ring made from Cat's wooden eye, though it was customized with expensive gems now.

"The person that did this is..."

The person took off their hood, revealing themselves as-

"Odalia Blight."
