Vee and Masha ran around the town, trying to find out where Tracey disappeared to.
Where could a scarred, former popular girl that knew a little magic run off to anyway? And how fast was she?
"Vee, can you sniff her out? Or maybe the glyphs she carrying?" Masha asked.
"That's actually kind of hard now, magic is beginning to show up lots of places around town now." Vee said, rubbing her nose. "With Titan's Blood in mom and Luz's veins, Tracey using glyphs for around a month, her location could be anywhere."
"Can you at least try? Like maybe concentrate on the heaviest smell in the area, if that makes sense?" Masha asked.
"It doesn't but it gives me an idea." Vee said, transforming the INSIDE of her nose instead of the outside.
'Think like a bloodhound, think like a bloodhound.' She thought, changing the inside of her nose to be like a dog.
She began sniffing, taking deep amounts of air into her nose.
Vee looked for Tracey's scent, mentally guessing it was a mix of hairspray from what she uses in her hair, sweat from nervousness about her scars, and plants because of constantly using the plant glyph. About a minute, Vee found something a little similar to it.
"I think I've got something." Vee said before walking ahead. "This way."
"Lead the way." Masha said.
The two went through the town before stopping before the old park that was abandoned years ago. This would obviously be the place Tracey would like to hide.
Mostly because it had overgrown with plants and people never bothered to try and restore it/clean it since there was a better park at a more convenient location.
They moved towards the front gate.
"She must be here." Masha said.
"How can you tell?" Vee asked, "Is it your fourth wall break powers?"
"No, and it's a bit weird that the authors can't decide if you know about them or not." Masha said, before pointing forward, "It's because there's a giant sphere of plants that looks like something Poison Ivy would make."
Vee looked ahead and there indeed was a giant sphere of vines right near the center fountain of the park.
"Wow, talk about total isolation." Vee said, turning her nose back to normal.
They walked up to it, unsure of what they would do to get inside since there were no visible openings.
"How do we-"
Vee was cut off as two vines wrapped around their legs and pulled them inside, before depositing them on the floor. Masha and Vee groaned and stood up. They looked around and saw that the inside was basically a plant house.
"Woah, she is incredibly gifted." Vee said, looking at the literal plant kitchen.
"No kidding. And I never thought I'd say this but I am incredibly jealous of Tracey right now." Masha said, looking around the plant "house." "The details are incredible too."
"I can hear you and thank you." Tracey said, coming into the kitchen.
"Cous!" Masha said happily.
"Tracey, why did you just suddenly run out?" Vee asked.
"And when did you build this cool place?" Masha asked.
"I built this place when the glyphs got more powerful." Tracey said, gesturing to her house, "Took two weeks to get it right but it was worth it. It's a good place to get away when life gets too hard."
"And how many times has life been hard for you?" Masha asked.
"Since that freak possessed me." Tracey said with a blank tone.
Tracey moved to a dining table and sat in a plant chair, just looking at the plant table.
"Ever since that day, my mind has been a wreck on the verge of destroying itself." She said, not caring anymore.
"Tracey, why didn't you say anything?" Vee asked.
"Who would I say it to?" Tracey replied, feeling her eyes water., "Everyone is trying to pry into my life now that everything has happened, no one else has been possessed, no one knows what it's like to deal with this!"
Tracey put her head on the table and started crying.
"Do you know what it's like for your mind to be your own worst enemy? For it to tell you that everything would be better if you died? That makes you hallucinate things like guns, knives, and ropes to try and kill yourself with?" Tracey asked, "watering" the table.
Suddenly, Masha pulled Tracey up and hugged her.
"No... no we don't... but we're going to help you, we aren't going to pry, we're going to sit here, and wait for you to talk to us." They said.
"Why?" Tracey asked, crying into Masha's shoulder.
"Because you're my family, and I want to help." Masha replied.
"And what about her?" Tracey asked, looking towards Vee.
"Oh please, we all know I'm going to marry her, she's practically family too." Masha said, "Besides, while she hasn't been possessed, she knows what it's like to be hurt and tortured, she can help you in ways that I can't."
"It's true, I can." Vee said with a nod.
"Do they involve taking someone else's place?" Tracey joked.
"No, more like some things I learned from that camp." Vee said with a grin.
Tracey smiled, happy that they were willing to help so much.
'I guess these two are gonna be your fucking security blanket?' Tracey's inner demon said to her.
'Yeah, and I'm glad.' Tracey thought, ignoring the dark thoughts.
Tracey's dark thoughts went away... for now.
"Now, is there anything else we need to know about this place?" Masha asked as she pulled back a bit but kept her hands on Tracey's shoulders.
"I made a bedroom." Tracey said, "It's... really big."
"A bedroom? No way." Vee said in surprise.
"You must want to be an interior designer, because I WANT to see that room. Right now." Masha said to her cousin. "And anything else on this literal green house."
"Well, I have a pool." Tracey said, smirking a tiny bit.
"A pool?!" Masha and Vee said in shock. "How?!"
"Magic." Tracey said, still smirking.
"Tour. Give. Now." Masha said, still in shock.
'Has she been using the other glyphs too?' Vee thought.
Tracey stood up and gestured for them to follow. This didn't turn out how they expected but this was a good step forward in Tracey's healing.
