You sighed out as you came out of the shower. You started drying your hair as you stared at yourself in the mirror. The flashbacks of last night started playing in front of you
You were still worried about your employee card being misused.
What if that man gets his hands on it? What if he uses it for some other purposes? What if he uses that card to frame you for a crime you never committed?
All these "what if's" scenarios started running in your brain. The more you thought about it, the more worried you were starting to get.
Trying to keep those thoughts aside, you became ready for your college. You had pre-finals starting in a few weeks. You couldn't afford to score less marks since you've studied hard since the past few days.
You planned to inform your boss about losing your employee card once you were done with your classes.
At college..
After collecting your stuff from the locker, you were heading towards your class as you heard a familiar voice from behind.
"Hey Y/N! How are you doing? I missed you!" Said your best friend, Namjoon.
"Oh hey Namu! And what do you mean you missed me? We just met yesterday." You replied chuckling and turning to walk away.
He shrugs and replies, "It's still more than 18 hours since I last saw you. So obviously I missed you."
You laugh as you guys walked together towards your class.
"So, what's your first class?" You asked while looking at your schedule
"Man, I got English. Ugh, I don't think I can bare to look at Miss. Mina's ugly make up caked face. She just annoying" He said as he rolled his eyes while imagining her look
"Sucks to be you I guess" You said as you chuckled out once again. "Anyways, I've got Business studies" You said while folding your schedule
"Damn, lucky you. You're so lucky to be in Mr. Leo's class. I've heard he's extremely lenient with his students" He said while curiosity sparkling in his eyes
"Yep, he indeed is. Infact, he doesn't even care if people are even listening to his class" You said while chuckling once again
"Alright, my class is here I need to go. Good luck with Miss. Mina" You laughed while waving at him
As you settled down in your seat, it wasn't long until Mr. Leo arrived.
Time skip..
You were in the cafeteria waiting for Namjoon to arrive as you mindlessly scrolled on your phone
"Meh, nothing interesting." You mumbled while mindlessly scrolling on your insta

A new notification appears. "Oh, a message from Joon?"

for lunch or go home 2gether w u

Namjoon:
Mannnn this woman gave me
some work to do and
said that she'd give me
extra credits
You:
Alr ig but make sure to pick
me up from my work

You sighed out while looking at his message.
"Now, now, what should I do? I don't even have classes now. Might as well go to work early and leave early." You thought as you went towards your locker to pack your stuff
Once you were done, you went to the bus stop near to your college and headed to work
Moonlight Café
"I should probably go inform about my employee card being lost." You thought as you headed towards your manager's cabin
You took a deep breath as you knocked at the door.
You heard a faint "come in" before you entered in his cabin
"Um, sir?" You called out as you rubbed your neck awkwardly
"Oh, Y/N? You needed something?" Your boss said out as he looked at you in curiosity
"Um, not exactly. I just wanted to inform you that I *clears throat* I um.. lost my identity card."
"Wait, what? How? I mean, where did you lose it?"
You cleared your throat as you said a fake made up story that involved you telling how your clumsy self fell down and how you had realised that you lost it once you reached home.
Your boss nodded in understanding as he took in your words.
"Okay, I'll file a complaint that you have lost it to avoid any kind of misleading things." Your boss said in understanding.
"Okay sir, thank you very much I appreciate your help." You said out in relief.
"It's alright you've been an amazing employee the past few months. This is the least I could do." Your boss smiled once again in understanding.
You smiled as you headed back to your work.
A few moments later..
"Yes! I have only an hour left till work is done." You thought as you cleaned the table infront of you in satisfaction
You were about to leave when someone bumped into you, hard.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry." Said out the person who bumped into you.
"It's okay sir, I'm fine." You smiled in understanding as you said but you looked up at him that's where your smile vanished.
It was the man you stabbed last night.
He was amused to see that you had actually remembered him.
You gulped as you stared at the man infront of you.
"You forgot this." He said while holding your employee card in his hand breaking you from your trance.
"Oh, uh.. thank you sir. I- I appreciate your help." You said trying not to stutter and show the man you're not fazed by his presence
He smirked in victory as he looked at your reaction towards this.
His eyes looked you up and down as you stared at your employee card in your hands nervously
He walked out as he once again bumped intentionally into you.
Once he had left, you looked at the backside of your employee card which had something written in the backside of it
