"Do you know how many weeks you will be gone?"

I shake my head, sighing. "No I seriously have no idea. It depends on how long the trial will go. And right now, my lawyer cannot give me a definitive answer."

"Of course the trial of that dickhead is causing you problems too," Miyeon rolls her eyes.

Soojin slaps her arms. "Shut up. At least you'll put his ass in jail. And like we said before, we can handle this."

"I know I know," I nod quickly, sending them both a smile. "I just really hate to leave everything just to deal with his ass."

"Maybe the jury will take one look at him and sentence him so you can get back quicker," Miyeon jokes.

I smile. "Yeah who knows. But I do need to get home, I still have to call Erin and finish packing."

I give both girls tight hugs, sad I have to leave them for however long the trial takes.

---

"Hey Y/N, is there something you need to discuss?"

"Nothing really problematic health wise," I assure my therapist. "I'm just not going to be able to make it to my sessions for a while. I'm going to have to cancel them for the time being."

"Oh," I hear her hum through the line. "Alright. Can I ask why?"

"The man who is the whole reason I am seeing you is going to trial and I am needed to testify against him," I pause. "And my lawyer hasn't been able to give me a definite time frame as to how long it will take. So I'm going to have to stop my sessions until it is over."

"Well it's good he is going to trial. If you need me at all during trial, give me a call. And I expect to hear from you once you get back, just set up an appointment when you can once everything is over. I wish you luck on the trial."

I thank her and end the call, looking at my mess of a room. So far, packing has not gone very far at all. I have enough clothes to take, but finding outfits for court has not been an easy thing. Plus, I have no idea how long I'll be there.

"Y/N?"

Jeongin walks in, a chuckle passing his lips at the state of my room.

"Oh don't even," I roll my eyes. "Your room looks like this normally half the time."

He raises his hands in defense. "I wasn't going to say anything. In fact, I was going to ask if you needed any help packing."

"Are you still packing?"

I look towards the newest addition to the room. "Lix not you too."

"I didn't mean anything by it," Felix hums, pecking both me and Jeongin on the cheek once he is close enough. "Do you want us to pack some for you, so you can take a break and get a snack or something. I think you've been working on this too long."

"Yeah we'll get you some sexy court outfits," Jeongin smirks. "And, you know, give you some regular outfits too."

"That would actually be awesome," I sigh in relief, sending them a grateful smile. "And I don't need sexy court outfits Innie."

"I didn't quite hear what you said but I assume you agree with me," Jeongin hums as he pushes me out the door.

I shake my head at the two, but head into the kitchen anyways. When I get there, the only one of my soulmates I find in the room is Chan.

"Hey baby," he greets me as I head to the cabinet. "Are you close to done packing?"

"Yeah I think," I shrug my shoulders, taking a seat by him at the bar. "I'm letting Felix and Jeongin finish it for me. We'll see how that works out. Worst case scenario, I have to buy some clothes in the states."

We fall into a silence as I snack and he works on his laptop. However, once I'm done, I notice the lack of noise in the apartment.

"Channie?"

He hums in acknowledgement.

"Where are the others?"

"Oh, they're packing."

I cock my head to the side in confusion. "What are you packing for? I didn't think you had to go out of the country for while for work?"

He smiles at me, a soft smile. "We're going with you baby. Of course we need to pack."

"Wait what?" I look at him, the words barely registering. "I thought you were busy with work? I told you I was okay going alone remember?"

He nods his head, waving his hands dismissively. "And you didn't think we were actually going to let you do that right?"

"Channie-"

"Nope," he shakes his head, smile still on his lips. "I had to fight a bit, but our schedule is going to be clear until the trial is over and we get to come back. There's no time limit for us. The company knows how important soulmates are and they finally understood we would not work at all if they forced us not stay."

I process the information for a moment, then shoot forward, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and pulling him into a loving kiss. He quickly reciprocates, wrapping his arms around my was it and pulling me closer.

"Thank you Wolfie," I whisper as I pull away, immediately diving back in to kiss him again.

He just tightens his grip on me, humming a bit into the kiss.

"I feel like I'm interrupting something," yI hear the joking voice behind me.

Chan and I pull away, turning to look at the smirking Jisung.

"Sungie you can join us if you want," I offer with a smile.

He shakes his head, moving over to sit beside us. "As much as I want to, I can down to make sure Channie has packed and ready. And Y/N, by some miracle Innie and Lix did actually finish packing for you."

Chan chuckles from beside me and stands up. "Alright, I'm off to finish packing. Ji are you done?"

Jisung nods his head quickly.

Chan hums. "Then you can keep Y/N busy so he/she/they don't start anxiety unpacking again."

"Okay I did that once," I huff, glaring at him. "And to be fair, it was when I was moving here and didn't want to forget anything important. Unpacking everything and packing again was the way I checked I had everything."

Jisung chuckles, wrapping an arm around my wast. "It's okay honey, he's just being a little mean."

Chan rolls his eyes, pressing a kiss to Jisung and I's cheeks, then heads to his room.

"How about we get to bed early so we can wake up for the flight tomorrow?"

I nod my head. "Yeah that sounds good."
