Out of Reach (Bada x Redy)

Meeting

It was during a hot summer.

Su Bin, along with her two dancer friends Mina and Sakura, were dallying the side of the street as they check for the correct address on their phone carefully checking every gates they passed. It was their first trip to the country of South Korea and they were all alone with only one 18-year old adult among them. Right then, they were looking for the exact house that they will be dwelling for the next days before their future is decided if they could stay or have to go home.

"I think it is here. The description is right," Su Bin said to her friends.

After ringing the doorbell, they immediately sense the presence of approaching footsteps. It turned out to the caretaker of the house. She looked once at everyone of them until she finally decided to invite them in. The house was spacious and had enough room for them not to share. Crimson finally informed her mother of their arrival.

Actually, this was owned by her mother which was given by her maternal grandparents to their only daughter. Her mother happened to marry a Japanese man which made them stayed in Japan for years instead of South Korea. Although it was like that, she still learned about Korean Language speaking and writing just as her mother made her. She never knew all her hardships of learning two language at the same time could be this useful and advantageous in the end.

"The call time tomorrow is like 8am. We need to..."

They were all discussing their plans for tomorrow. Initially, they were here to try their luck and audition in a fairly well known Korean dance crew. Although they had a few decent dance crews in Japan, the Korean dance crews are much more trendy and always ahead of their game when it comes to dancing techniques and choreograph. After some open recruitments were announced online, Su Bin who was a big fan of dancing since young, didn't hesitate to shoot her shot with this once in a lifetime opportunity. She also informed her other two friends knowing they would be interested in this challenge.

After obtaining the permission they needed, they flew right away to come here. Crimson enjoyed the plane ride as she sat beside the window. She was overlooking the beautiful sea below as she carried her hopeful heart of dreaming her life as a professional dancer!

That night, the friends all slept early together to prepare for leaving early in the morning. Finding the exact place of the dance studio might be as lucrative as finding their current abode on their first day. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Thankfully, the studio was much easier to find this time as they planned ahead using google maps. They found it in no time and entered the busy studio. People are everywhere sporting their comfortable dance outfits and were doing warm ups in the current space they can occupy.

The three of them went of them in a corner decided to observe first. It is an open audition so they cater to auditionees based on their arrival. They patiently waited for their turn until they were called to enter a room.

The moment they entered, there were five seats available which was set up in front of the table of the persons who seem to be the one judging and evaluating dancers' skills. They quickly took their seats as they stood up one by one to introduce themselves.

"Hello, everyone! My name is Shin Su Bin. I came from Japan but I'm half Korean and half Japanese..."

The introduction was finished and one by one they were randomly called to come forward to show their skills. Su Bin's two friends went ahead first and she went last among the five. After they were all done showing what they got, Su Bin and another tall Korean girl was called forward again and was asked to do a freestyle dance showdown.

Su Bin, determined, did all her best to show what she had in store. She had already foreseen that a freestyle dance might be something they might want to see from the dancer auditionees to know how they can move and think spontaneously with their bodies so she was actually prepared incase. She dance what she had practiced in advance and just made the move a little careless to make it look like unprepared.
