When something's wrong
And too much to handle
Try to find some peace of mind
Let it go.
Wait a minute, you know this road
It's gonna leave you on overload, yeah
'Cause somebody cares, yeah
I can see you hurting (turn around)I will be right there
Don't run away, don't run away, don't run away
When I reach out to you, look around
I will be right here
Don't run away, don't run away, don't run away
Tonight

Don't Run Away - David Archuleta

"Are you insane?" Jason groaned through the phone. "Why would you accept something crazy like that?"

"Because what if she snapped out of whatever high she was on and realized she didn't want a second date?" I complained back.

"Well, you better figure out how to score a third," Jason said, "because there's no way to reserve The Mystical Garden on short notice."

"Guess I'll have to figure something out," I sighed. Jason stayed on the line with me trying to brainstorm for awhile before calling it a night. I tried to sleep early that night, but all I could think about was spending another wholesome day with Mena.

When my alarm woke me, I only had four hours of sleep, but I was wide awake. I got up and got ready wanting to be warmed up and ready to go by the time Mikey showed up at the training area. The Test of Strength would be coming soon.

I was stretching my arms as I was getting close when I heard sounds. Who was training this early? As I passed the last tree, I was surprised to see Amelia in a black crop top and some black sweats. She smiled as she saw me.

"Perfect timing," she said as she held her hands up and bounced on her feet, "I need a sparring partner." I laughed as I crossed my arms.

"Not a chance," I smirked.

"Aw, what's a matter, Mr. Big and Bad Alpha?" She smiled tauntingly as she continued to bounce on the balls of her feet, "you're not scared of little old me, are you?"

"No, but Mikey will kick my ass if I harm a hair on that pretty little head of yours," I shook my head. And I wouldn't blame him considering I'd hurt him if he hurt Mena.

"Oh, please," she laughed, "you'd actually have to get a hold of me in order for that to happen."

"Trust me, you don't want to try me," I said.

"Oh," she smirked, "but I do!" She caught me by surprise as she ran forward toward me. I quickly dodged the small fists she threw at me, but I missed the kick till it landed on my cheek sending me crashing back.

"You know, you seemed a lot sweeter with your stuttering problem," I growled as I sat up rubbing my cheek. She smirked.

"Don't flatter yourself," she smiled. "You were never the reason for that problem."

"Alright, you want to go?" I said standing up, "let's go."

I ran toward her quickly going on offense trying to grab a hold of her, but she was tiny and fast. I groaned as she sent two jabs into my stomach as she ducked my arm. I winced, and stepped back. How is she so fast?

"Peter, be honest with me," Amelia said, "has Mikey talked to you about us?"

"About us?" I said looking at her confused before pointing to me and her, "isn't this our first real conversation since you got here?"

"No! You idiot! Focus!" She said as she was still bouncing around, "I didn't kick you that hard. I mean between me and Mikey." She went on the attack again and I quickly went to defense. "Has he talked to you?"
