taking one of the last boxes from the moving truck, jeremiah made his way up the stairs again. an average person would start complaining that their legs were hurting from all the walking and going up and down the stairs, but not jeremiah, especially not for sadie.

he was excited. his girlfriend was moving to his city. they were going to go to the same school. they were going to see each other every day.

they have never done that. they've never seen each other every single day. only during summers and occasionally a few days during other seasons, but never every single day for a year straight.

he was happy despite everything bad that had happened. there was this light at the end of the tunnel. and it was sadie. sadie was the light at the end of the tunnel.

taking two stairs at the time, he arrived to the fourth floor in no time. the door to their apartment was open, so he entered. all of the movers have already made their way down the stairs when he was exiting, and if he was guessing, he'd say that they already left.

the apartment was full of boxes stacked on top of each other and unpacked furniture. there were food containers left everywhere by the movers. the place was a mess but it was slowly starting to look like a real home.

jeremiah made his way towards the hallway where he knew her room was. first door to the right. she already put up a few pictures on her door. one of her and piper, another one with their dad, a few from the summer house.

but the one he appreciated and liked the most was the one with him, taken just that summer, less than a month ago. they were at the beach, brightly smiling.

even though a little time passed, he felt like a different guy, like a completely different person.

his parents were still on the outs, and while his mom was doing treatments, he was going to be the one taking care of her, helping her. andrew and sadie came to boston to help him with that, to help both him and susanna with everything that they needed help with.

shaking the thoughts from his head, he opened the door of the room. sadie stood by the desk that was positioned right under the window. she had her back to turn to him, and was putting some of the books on the few shelves andrew had put up previously.

he put the box down, the box that was labeled as sadie's, and lightly pushed the door, not closing it all the way. jeremiah walked to his girlfriend, hugging her from behind, "i see your dad finished building the bed."

sadie giggled, turning around to look at him. the fisher boy had a big smile on his face but a mischievous glint in his eyes. "maybe we should try it out, you know, just in case..." she matched his enery. her gaze travelled from the boy to the newly assembled bed in the middle of the room.

jeremiah walked backwards to the bed, taking a laughing sadie with him. once the back of his knees reached the bed frame he lowered himself and sadie on the soft mattress.

he landed first with sadie on top of him. jeremiah admired the girl, she was smiling down at him so her dimples were on full display. he couldn't wait any longer, he kissed her.

what was supposed to be a sweet kiss turned into a heated make out session in seconds. she was straddling him, with his hands going up her thighs.

"knock, knock!" the cheery voice of andrew interrupted them. the teenagers jumped from the bed, quickly making themselves presentable. "dad!"

"can i look now?" andrew held a box up high, covering his eyes afraid he might see something he shouldn't. jeremiah cleared his throat.

"hi! hello! anybody here?" the three heard a faint sound of susannah's voice coming from the other room. "we're here!" andrew called out.

would it be cringe if I put Sadie's nickname for Jeremiah to be Sunshine, because Susannah calls him Sunshine Boy so yea? lemme know what you think!!
