Chapter 14 memories

3rd pov

Lizzie opened up her eyes and she wasn't in the hybrid boy's room anymore. She was outside at the Salvatore school and it was day broad light.

''my first time visiting the school, after Rick and Caroline made it a school for the supernatural. Good memory'', Nick's voice was heard behind her.

She turned around and looked at boy, who was to busy to watch the school and feeling the nostalgic feeling.

The Saltzman girl turns around as a little girl walks out who she recognized as herself.

''Nicky, come on. It's sunny outside. We'll have so much fun this summer, before the school really starts. So, don't be so grumpy. You're with me after all'', little Lizzie said.

Another voice was heard from the inside. A little Salvatore boy to be specific.

''argh, I'm coming Liz. Of course you are already stocked with summer. I just want to stay inside my house all the time tho'', the boy told her as he stepped outside.

''is that you?'', Lizzie asked Nick as her eyes were glued to their past self.

The boy smiles as he remembers the memory.

''yeah, one and only Nick Salvatore. Just keep watching, the best part is coming soon'', he answers.

Little Lizzie went and stood in front of little Nick.

''oh, you're just not fun at the moment. Just because Josie told on you to aunt Elena and uncle Damon about you ruining their favourite carpet''.

The little boy groans.

''of course I am. Instead of me getting to join them to Disneyland with Stef, I'm spending the summer here. Because that was a punishment. No offense Lizzie, but again it was disneyland. I was finally tall enough to take the big rides''.

Lizzie chuckled softly as she looks at the hybrid's younger self.

''but you're gonna spend it all with me isn't that cool?'', little Lizzie asked him showing she was a little hurt about what he said.

The boy shakes his head and smiles at the girl.

''well, yeah it is. It's just I don't know. I'm not feeling myself lately. I feel empty and so angry at the times and I don't even know why'', he confides to the girl.

Nick frowns at this.

''yeah, I guess I know why I was so empty and angry all the time. Werewolf gene, kicking in I guess'', he chuckles.

''where's the best part you said were coming?''.

Nick directs Lizzie's eyes up towards the window that was just above the little Salvatore boy.

''there''.

Just as he said that. Josie was at the window and she had a bucket with her. The girl started slowly let the bucket to the side and with one push. Water came out from it and onto the little Saltzman girl and Salvatore boy.

The two kids, looked up and saw Josie.

The two shared a quick mischivious look and went inside the boarding school.

''let's just say that. The school had a pool that day''.

Lizzie tilts to the side as she somehow remembered that day.

''yeah, because me and Josie used our magic and got water all in the school. God, dad was so mad for two weeks. I remember me, Josie and you had to clean up for a whole week because of the stunt we pulled''.
