Chapter 7

One Year later

I watch my father with his new grandson, as Charlotte and Declan were getting married. Jacob was only two weeks old, Charlotte had Jacob one month early; Daniel was sitting down in front with Hope in his lap she looked so much like him, she has his dark brown hair his nose but, she got her grandfather's blue eyes something that surprised my husband and myself. I was standing up with Charlotte as her maid of honor and of course Declan's brother my best friend Jack was his best man. As I watch with everyone as the newlywed couple walks down aisle, I took Jacks arm as we walk down the aisle.

After everything was done picture wise I was standing with my children and my husband as I look at him, "Emily, can I ask you something important," Daniel says as I look at him nodding, "Can we go to Paris with the kids and live there. I feel like we need a change."

"Yes Daniel," I say as I take Hope up into my arms as I watch Lily and Max dance on the small dance floor, "I was thinking about moving things to a different place after everything that happened with your mother."

"I still can't believe that my mom was behind us begin attacked this summer," Daniel says and I nod swaying back and forth as getting Hope to calm down and fall asleep.

"I still can't believe that Charlotte and Declan got remarried," I say smiling as my thoughts travel to what happened during the summer, we were celebrating Fourth of July at Grayson Manor when we were all held at gun point, thank god the kids were a sleep the shooters where Victoria's henchmen. It was later found out that Victoria was behind it because, she could never forgive my father for killing her first husband Conrad.

"I know," Daniel says and then I wave Lily and Max over to us, "Let's go say bye to the newlyweds and then pack."

"Where are we going mama?" Max asks as Daniel picks him up and I reach for Lily's hand.

"We are going to our house in Paris," Daniel tells Max as Lily smiles and claps.

"Yay," she says as she looks at Daniel, "I love our place there."

"Me too," I say was we walk to our car as our security guard, "Lex can you watch the kids, well Daniel and myself say goodbye to my sister and brother in law."

Daniel and I walk hand in hand down the beach as I hold her hand tightly, "I am going to miss the Hamptons," I say as we reach Charlotte and Declan, "It has been an amazing seven years here but, we all need a change."

"Yes it has been an amazing seven years," Daniel says as we continue to walk as we reach Charlotte and Declan, I hug them both as Daniel continues to talk, "It was a beautiful ceremony sis."

"Thank you for being here Danny," Charlotte say as he smiles and shakes Declan's hand, "You too Amanda it means the world to me and Dec."

As we walk through the halls of Grayson manor as I look at the stair case as I watch my children hugging their favorite toys as Daniel carries Hope in his arms, " I can't wait to start our new lives together," I say as I slide my sun glasses on.

"This is what we have deserved since the first time we got engaged Emily," Daniel say as he pays the moving staff, "Even with everything that happened in our past."

"I know, I still think I should have send yes and ran off," I say as Daniel smiles placing Hope in the car as I help Max and Lily into the car buckling them in, "This would just be our summer home or our beach house."

"Yes, that is what should have happened," I hear Daniel say as I caught up in a memory of wedding photo shoot.

Before Daniel and I got married when I had just found out about Lily for a brief period of time she calls our little secret but now our little secret was four, her little brother was three and her baby sister was a year old. But, Lily was not our first secrett, David Grayson was our first secret. Soon after boarding the plane i fall asleep and i am taken about to that troubling night so many years ago.

As I walk through my beach house, I had just found out that I was pregnant with my first child; Daniel meeting with his father and his best friend Tyler was still on the loose. As I make myself a cup of tea as I was beginning to feel sick, I take a deep breath as I try and breath through it; I hear the door open was I feel my stomach cramp up. I drop the mug of hot water was I double over as I hear Daniel come in.

"Daniel," I whimper as I grip my stomach feeling warm liquid running down my inner thighs I feel Daniel's arm on me.

"Emily? Em, what's wrong?" Daniel says as I look up at him feeling more cramps, my left hand travels into my pants as the liqiud continues to flow I feel tears in my eyes as I pull my hand back looking at it.

"No," I whisper as I lean against Daniel, "I'm losing our baby."

With those words are taken in by Daniel as I fall out of consciousness, what seems like forever I wake up in a hospital bed with Daniel gripping my hand, "Daniel," I murmur as I squeeze his hand.

"Oh Emily," Daniel says his voice cracking as I look around the room, "Thank god you are awake."

As Daniel kisses my head I feel tears in my eyes again, "The baby," I say my voice cracking as I feel Daniel pull away from me.

"I'm so sorry Emily, it's gone," with those two words /it's gone/ my heart broke and I was overcome by grief.

"I want you to know something," he continues to talk, "I'm all in no matter what happens. I love you Emily Thorne."

"I am too Daniel," I say softly, "now that you have said that there is something, I want to tell."

"Wake up Mrs. Grayson," I hear Daniel whisper in my ear as I open my eyes looking around our private jet.

"Where are we?" I ask as I sit up in the chair looking around for the kids as I try to wipe away the memory that I had been dreaming about.

"We are in the air over the ocean my love," Daniel answers me.

"Where are the children?" I ask as I push myself up in the chair and turn to face my husband.

"They are all sleeping the cabin," Daniel says as he touches my wrist were the infinity tattoo is, "What were you dreaming about?"

"The night we lost David," I say as I look at him, "The night I truly let you in."

"Oh," Daniel says his face darkening, "the anniversary is coming up isn't it?"

"Yes in three days it'll be six year since we lost our angel and since you learned the truth," I say as I stand up.

"And I stuck to my word," Daniel says as he follows me, "even when we were apart I kept your secret then when you were ready to tell everyone I was there. I have and always will be all in."

"Yes and I will always be all in too Daniel no matter what happens. Because, meeting you after thinking my father was dead and coming to the Hampton to cause people pain was not me," I say as I turn to Daniel as he wraps his arms around me.

"I think that even if you did not come after my family," Daniel begins as I wrap my arms around him, "We would have met some other way because you Amanda Clarke are my soul mate and destiny forever."
