"Go," I say taking a small deep breath as shake my head. I watch my husband from the balcony head with the cops to the beach house. As I turn smashing the frame the photo was in, I wait for Aiden to come get me.

"Baby?" I hear him say in his accent which I hate to admit I missed slightly; but it reminded me of a past I wanted to forget. My eyes brighten as I see him enter the room.

"Your here!" I say smirking as I walk over to him taking his face in my hands, my lips found his as I feel his arms tighten around me.

"Oh how I've missed you Thorne," he says taking a breath which I can only guess as him taking in my scent. As I grip him my eyes close, "I watched your ex husband leave. Why was he here?"

"He was getting something for our daughter," I say mentioning Lily as Aiden shake his head.

"I still can't believe you have kids with that bastard," Aiden says as I take in air as I give the signal to the camera.

"Get on the ground Aiden Mathis; you are under arrest," says an officer as they kick the door in as another one grabs me, "For the a tempted murder of Daniel and Emily Grayson."

"You bitch," Aiden growls as I hold onto the officer giving him a flip with my finger tip as a signal, "you set me up!"

"Emily Greyson you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Declan Porter," he says cuffing me as I groan feeling the metal tight around my wrists.

This was going as planned we needed Aiden to believe we both got caught; even though he made it look like I was the one responsible for Declan's almost murder. The officers and myself had been working on this case for years.

Soon after I had max I joined the investigation unit in New York and the international unit so I could be with my family in Paris. I had an ear piece buried deep in my ear as I hear my partner and husband tell me to keep Aiden talking.

"Stay here," the officers said shoving both Mathis and myself not the love seat as I twist my hands behind me, I glance at Aiden.

"Why did you come back?" I ask him as he glances at me shaking his head.

"I came to kill your family like we planned and then I was going to take you away to Hawaii like we always planned," he say as I bite the inside of my cheek.

"Hey James did you get that?" I ask looking at the officer who nodded and undid my handcuffs, "Thanks Mathis."
