Chapter 8

"So today I am joined by Hamptons it couple Emily and Daniel Grayson," Wendy Lee says as she faces the camera I reach for Daniel's hand as I smile softly stiffening in my chair slightly, "Emily and Daniel have taken time from their Paris home to see Charlotte Clarke get married to Declan Porter," she continues as she turns to face us, "So let's start this interview off with a few burning questions."

"Emily you met Daniel a few months before you got engaged, then broke it off but got together soon after coming back for the summer that following year. You both have been married since then, so what kind of things have you learned about your husband? And, Daniel what things have you learned about your wife?"

"Well Daniel and I have been married for almost six years now," I begin feeling Daniel squeeze my hand, "I have learned so much every day even now about him, I love watching him with our children he is a big softie."

"Yeah I agree with my wife when she says you learn something new every day about someone you love," Daniel says as he glances at me and I smile, "We have three kids under the age of five so it's a challenge at times."

I nod in agreement, as Wendy nods and then asks, "Yes, you do have three children how old are they and what are their names?"

"Our oldest is Lillian she is going to be four in a few weeks," I say and then Daniel cuts in.

"The middle child is our son Maxwell he is three and then our youngest she was our surprise," he says and I nod.

"Yes she was our surprise and her name is Hope she's a year old."

"So, your family made headlines again with the arrest and sentencing of your mother Daniel," Wendy says and I squeeze his hand, "What type of impact has it made on your kids and yourself?"

"My children have taken it surprisingly will," Daniel says as he glances at me our eyes meeting, "As for Emily and myself we both knew what my mother was capable of, we just never thought something like that would happen."

"Daniel is right ever since I came to the Hamptons I felt like Victoria never really wanted me in the family," I say softly as I feel Daniel squeeze my hand, "But before all this stuff happened with Victoria we had just started to get along."

"What does it mean to watch your sister marry the love of her life and father of her son?" Wendy asks as I glance at Daniel smiling as I hold his hand.

"It's amazing for Emily to watch my sister get married," Daniel says as he keeps a hold of my hand, "Charlie has belonged to Declan for years it's about time they get married and begin their lives together."

"I have to agree with Daniel," I say softly as I look at Wendy, "Watching my sister in law marry the man she's been in love with for years. Reminds me of myself with Daniel, no matter what happened we found our way back to each other," I continue as I grip his hand, "which is what happened with Charlie and Declan."
