Haunting Past

"Emily are you sure this is what you want?" I hear Daniel ask; as I pick up a photo from the party where I first met him.

"It is," I say placing the photo down on the table by our bed, as I turn to face him. I subconsciously mess with my wedding ring and engagement ring.

"Okay I love you," he says moving to kiss me; I kiss him back tears in my eyes as I slip my rings off handing them to him.

"Goodbye Daniel."

8 hours earlier

"Mr. And Mrs. Grayson thank you so much for joining us," Wendy says as she stands up with us; I shake her hand as she she moves to shake Daniel's my phone goes off.

"Excuse me," I say seeing who was calling me, I hit the answer button on my phone, "Why are you calling me?"

"I need your help Amanda," the other voice on the end of the phone says as I shake my head, "it's important."

"It's been almost four years Aiden," I say walking away my face turning close along with my voice.

"I know but, Victoria has men after me," he says and I hear a car starting in the background.

"What does that have to do with me?"

"I am coming to get you Amanda this game has gone on for to long," he says and my eyes widen, he's finally lost it. He thinks I'm still in love with him, I turn to Daniel as he touches my back.

"I'm at my house the manor," I say before hanging up playing into his delusion, I look at my husband, "Aiden is coming back call the cops. We can have him arrested for our a tempted murders."

As I help Daniel get the kids things ready I hear Lily and Max giggling at the tv, I glance at Hope who was sound asleep in her pack and play.

"It's a good thing we kept the beach house," Daniel says walking in with the head officer, "Aiden is most likely to come here later tonight."

"Mrs. Grayson are you sure," the officer says stepping closer to Daniel and myself, "you want to convince Aiden that you want him."

"He thinks I'm in love with him," I say pulling out my phone as I see his name flash on the screen.

"Aiden?" I say stepping out of the room with the officer as I put it on speaker phone.

"Hey baby," he mutters and I hear talking in the background, "I am about two hours away. Be packed."

He hung up before I could answer as I put my phone away; I glance at Daniel and the officer, "Get my children and husband out of here."

With those words I walk out of the large room and head to my bedroom, I glance around the room taking a breath, I feel Daniel's arms around me as I turn to kiss him. I pull away taking a few steps away from him as I close my eyes.
