Eda was again at the hospital visiting Raine, it was their last day, and the doctor would be back to confirm Raine could leave. "Welp.. Guess I'm homeless now" Raine joked. "W-well...if you want..you could move in with me and the kids..they love you..i lo-..like..having you around" eda said while blushing"Awh.. Thanks walnut, your very precious" they said with a small blush. Then the doctor came in. "Alright, mx whispers your free to leave with your wife" he said. Eda and Raine started blushing like crazy. "Uh... What-" eda covered Raines mouth before they could finish. "Thank you!! Uh.. Come on Raine, lets get you dressed" eda said nervously. The doctor left, and eda gave a guilty smile. "Really eda? You told them you were my wife?" They asked. "Uh.. Sorry, it was the only way I could come see you, they just assumed since I'm still wearing my wedding ring" eda explained. "O-oh.. Uh.. Alright" they said. Slightly confused on why eda still had her ring after Jack cheated on her
When eda got Raine to her apartment, lux and king immediately ran up to them. "Mom!! Raine!! Uncle Darius let us watch soap opreas with him!" Luz cheered. Eda glared at Darius, who quickly went out the door. "Okay well.. No more soap operas.. " eda said. "Awh, but we were about to see what turns a woman on" king complained. Raine glanced over at the tv, then back at eda. "Why don't I watch it first and see if its appropriate?" Raine offered. "Awh, thanks Raine, thats so sweet, I gotta start making dinner anyways" eda said, then went to the kitchen. I think we all know why Raine offered to watch it.
After eda had put both her kids to bed, she joined Raine in her room. "Hey Raine.. You uh.. Dressed?" She asked before walking in. "Yeah! Dont worry" they said through the door. Eda walked in, and sat down on her bed. raine looked down at edas hand, and saw her ring, and got nervous, but decided to ask. "Hey..walnut,how come you still wear your wedding ring?" Raine asked. Eda looked down at her hand, and sighed. "Well.. It's.. A little complicated" eda muttered. "Do.. Do you still.. Have feelings for him?" Raine asked, nervously. "No.. Not at all.. I wear this.. Because in a way it ammes me feel like I'm not a single mother" eda mumbled. Raine didn't get it so they didn't interupted. "Being.. A single mother scares me.. So I wear this.. So.. I don't feel single.. So I just pretend I'm.. Married to someone else".eda said looking down. "Who?" Raine asked. Eda blushed, and chuckled. "Thats my business, whispers" eda teased. Raine chuckled and laid down. Eda did the same. They were back to back but with space between them. Both wanted so bad to be closer, but didn't want to make the other uncomfortable.
The next morning, eda decided to stay home with Raine since they were still recovering. Was was running low on food, and needed to go to the store. She saw Raine walk in wearing One of the over sized t-shirts she gave them. Eda blushed slight seeing them in it. "Hey Rainestorm.. I uh, gotta go to the store, you wanna come with me, or stay here?" Eda asked. "Oh! Ill come with you" they said. "Cool.. Well uh.. Just get dressed" eda said. "Oh shit.. I don't have any clothes" Raine said. "Oh, I have some of your clothes" eda said, as she went to her room. "Oh?.. Like.. How many?" Raine asked. "Not.. Many' eda said nervously. When Raine saw how much she bad they were flabbergasted
" eda.. This is HALF my wardrobe!!" They said. Eda have a guilty look. "Uhh.. Just incase?.." She said. "No! Walnut..! Why!? Why do you have so many of my clothes!?" They asked. "Um.. None-ya.. Now get dressed" eda said, then left the room.
As eda and Raine were shopping, Raine noticed eda was wearing one of their hoodies. "Eda.. Is that mine?" They asked with an ammused smirk. "Nope.. " eda said with a nonchalant tone. "Pretty sure it is, walnut" Raine tease. "It USED to be yours, not it's mine's eda said with a prideful tone. " oh dear God eda.. " Raine said in a small laugh. Then saw the last people they expected, or wanted to see. Jack and Stephenie. The 4 adults just stared blankly at each other.
Jack smirked and looked eda up and down. "Hey Dolly, good to see ya" he said, then winked at her. Eda cringed, then saw Stephenie hit him in the arm. "Raine, looks like you've downgraded" Stephenie said with a snide smile. "So did you.." Raine mumbled, then took edas hand. "Who would want a single mother anyways?" Stephenie asked, clearly aiming such an insult at eda. "Ya know doll, whe you divorced me I was heart broken, but seeing you now. Sad, alone and single. I knew I doged a bullet" Jack said. Eda chuckled. "Woah, hey there.. I am not single" eda said, as a complete lie. "Um.. Raine.. And I.. Are dating" eda said as a desperate attempt at redemption. "What?! Raine is that true!?" Stephenie asked. Eda kicked Raine on the side of their leg. Raine winced in pain, and saw the desperate smile on edas face. "Uh.. Yes.. Yes I am Dating her" Raine lied. "Well since were all happy an in love, we should go on a double date tonight" Jack suggested. "Uh.. What-" eda mumbled. "W-we'll be there!" Raine said, then wrapped their arms around eda, which caused her to start blushing. "Fine! Il text you the place" Jack said the took Stephenie an left.
When they got back in the car, they both sighed. "Why.. Did we do that?" Raine asked. "I.. Have no idea.. Now were trapped" eda said. "Do.. You wanna.. Back out?" They asked. Eda looked at them. ".. Do you?" She asked. ".. No.. " Raine mumbled. "No.. " eda repeated. They they both exchanged a smirk. "You thi k we can act like a couple for a night?" Raine asked playfully. "Well your terrible at acting, but I think we can pull it off" eda teased. "Oh shut up" Raine said, rolling their eyes. "Is that anyway to talk to your girlfriend?" Eda said giving a teasing smirk.
When it was almost time to go, eda was in her room changing. Raine had borrowed a suit from Darius that he couldn't wear anymore. Raine just put on the White shirt, and pants, put on boots, added a chain to the side on the pants, and put on a choker. It was nice, yet a little edgy. Lilith was there, because she needed someone to watch Luz and king. "Remind me how you got in the situation again?" Lilith asked. "Uh.. It's.. Complicated" Raine mumbled. "Finally got my hair right.. " eda mumbled as she walked out. Eda had on a black dress that came off her shoulders, and was a little wavy at the bottom with 3 once black heels, and her hair out up in a high ponytail. As Raine looked over and saw eda. Their jaw dropped, cheeks flushed, and speechless.
