Eda was pacing back and forth in front if her sister who had just gotton here 10 minutes ago. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! FUCK! What the hell am I supposed to do!?" Eda asked frantically. Lilith sighed, as eda had asked her this is 20 times already. "How about you stop swearing?" Lilith suggested. Eda kept pacing while Lilith was looking at the court order. "What if he hurts them because he's mad at me!? He can't take care of them!!" Eda said panicking. "Edalyn Marie Clawthorne!! Sit your ass down!" Lilith yelled. Eda jumped hearing her middle name, then sat down a little startled. "Great. Now that your calm we can actually work on this" Lilith said. "Now your financially stable, which is great.. No criminal record.. So your pretty much in the clear" Lilith said. Eda sighed in relief. "Alright.. Now all we have to do is make sure Jack Doesn't have the upper hand on us and we can all relax" Lilith said, eda nodded in agreement. "Alright where is his job?" Lilith asked. "Lils.. He has a part time job at chick-fi-la... " eda said sounding very unimpressed.
Lilith was trying her best not to start laughing. "Well..everything seems to be in your favor, I can easily get you soul costody of Luz and king" Lilith said happily. "Thank you so much lily" eda said relived. Then felt Luz and king tugging on her clothes. "Mom! Can auntie lily play with us?" Luz asked. "Ask her, not me" eda said. Luz immediately flopped onto liliths lap and begged. "Pleaseeeee auntie lily!!" Luz pleaded, then have the biggest puppy dog eyes she could muster. "Awh, alright il come" Lilith said.
When it came the day for the court case, eda had Luz and king with Raine. "Now Mr Daniels, do you have a stable job?" The judge asked. "Yes your honor I work as a manager at chick-fi-la" he answered. "Right, well how did your marriage end" the judge asked. Jack started fake crying. "Oh your honor..she had lost feelings for me, and now is taking away my son" Jack cried. The judge gave a stupid look, because he wasn't good at fake crying. "Ms clawthorne is that true?" The judge asked. "No.. He cheated on me.. I found I'm screwing another girl on the kitchen floor.. For a porn video" eda answered. Everyone gasped. "Right, so it's to my understanding that the mother will have soul costody of both children" the judge said. Eda smiled brightly, and hugged her sister. "But However, I will give the father a chance to redeem himself, by letting him visit the children this weekend, if all goes well I might consider split costody with Mr Daniels having the children every other weekend" hearing this eda wasn't very comfortable with this, but they would still be with she lost of the time, so she would deal with it.
As eda was leaving, she felt someone grab her wrist. Eda looked back to see Jack smirking at her. "Looking good dolly, I can't wait to see you this weekend" he said, eda jerked her arm away looking very uncomfortable. "Your not coming for me.. Your coming for our children" eda said correcting him. Just then Luz and king ran over to eda, pulling on her clothes. "Mom!! I'm hungry!" King said. "Mom! Can we go to the park!?" Luz asked. Eda smiled at her children, and patted them on the head. "Hey hey calm down, we'll grab lunch and go to the park later, yeah?" Eda asked. "Yeah!!" Luz and king beamed. "Hey king, you miss me?" Jack asked. King looked at him with a emotionless expression. "No" he said, then requested to be picked up by eda. Which she obliged. "Il send you my address.." Eda said, then left.
Friday came way to fast for comfort in edas opinion. She didn't trust Jack to take care of them, especially since he never really spent time with them. "Luz! King! Are you guys ready?" Eda asked. Luz and king come out with backpacks, with everything they would need for the weekend. "Were ready mom!" Luz said. "Okay.. Remember all the emergency numbers?" Eda asked. "911!" Luz and king said. "And.. What do you do if you feel unsafe?" Eda asked. "Call you or the the police" they both said. "And if someone tries to grab you?" Eda asked. "Strike, scream, and run" they repeated. "Perfect" eda said, then kneeled down to them. "Okay.. Be good, Luz take care of your brother.. Jung, please listen to your sister, and stay together" eda said, she was scared beyond reason.
