10. A Date

~Athanasia POV~

Slowly waking up, looking out the window with a coffee at the rising sun. That would have been the perfect conditions for a beautiful morning, but no...instead I am rudely awakened as the warm blanket was pulled away from me and I looked into the smirking face of Vanitas. Wait...when did I end up in bed anyway? Never mind, what mattered was the smirking idiot in front of me. ,,What do you want?'' ,,That my dear is a good question. How about we make ourselves a nice day today?'' I looked at him suspiciously. ,,Why?'' ,,Why not? After everything that happened, we should take a break.'' ,,And what about Noé?'' Vanitas looked over at our sleeping roommate. ,,He's probably sleeping extremely long again. Besides, I wanted to do something alone with you." he smiled innocently and stood up. 

,,Where are you going now?'' ,,I'll give you time to get ready. Meet me in the park not far from here in 20 minutes.'' Before I could even answer Vanitas was already gone. I hadn't even agreed! Sighing, I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes from the closet and went to the bathroom. I really wonder why Vanitas wants to do something with me so suddenly. I looked in the mirror and fixed the last things of the clothes before I stepped out of the bathroom. I looked again at Noé who had apparently fallen out of bed again. Somehow I felt bad leaving Noé lying there. So I stepped quietly to him and covered him at least. Then I quietly left the hotel room and went on my way. On the way to the park, I nervously played with my hair strand. I hope my clothes fit. Wait a minute... since when do I pay attention to that?! I shook my head frantically. Today is just a normal day like any other! With quick steps I went on and saw Vanitas already in the distance, who seemed to be lost in thought. Hehe, a little prank is surely allowed. I quietly approached him, bent down and gently blew in his ear. I would never have thought that Vanitas could jump up so quickly. I looked at his shocked face with a smirk. 

,,I didn't think you would make it on time.'' ,,Hey! How long did you think it would take me?'' ,,At least longer than 20 minutes.'' Vanitas smirked, ignoring what just happened. ,,I definitely didn't take as long as you can see.'' I grumbled with my arms crossed. ,,Where did you get those clothes anyway? I don't remember you going clothes shopping again.'' ,,Lady Dominique had given me clothes before you sent me away from Altus. She said it would fit me well.'' ,,And your hair? You seem to have changed something.'' ,,Does it look bad?" I asked and my hands immediately shot up to my hair. Vanitas leaned forward so that I could hear his voice right by my ear. ,,On the contrary, you look lovely. Open hair suits you.'' ,,Th-thank you..." I stammered.
