A handful of you guys have asked for me to give my honest opinion on the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Well, that's what I'm here for! Let's just get started with it.

The Teal Mask DLC starts with the Player receiving a call from Proffessor Jacq whom explains that the player won a school lottery to attend a school trip with a handful of their peers to the Unova region & experience the small town of Kitakami

Kieran invites the player to attend the Mask Festival, a Festival in place to honor the late Royal Three. The Royal Three had lost their lives to a ferocious ogre protecting the town generations prior. While at the Festival, the player & Carmine meet this fabled Ogre...

I'll be straight up, I wasn't a fan of this DLC. Two things were VERY obvious in my first half hour of gameplay and that was the game ran VERY poorly. The game ran as badly as release day for Scarlet & Violet if that says how bad it was. It was especially laggy, NPCs kept glitching, unless you were right next to a Pokemon then the Pokemon couldn't move/load properly. Miraidon kept glitching into the environment resulting in numerous game crashes. If you were traversing atop water, the game practically stopped working. To be fair, traversing water in the main game was problematic at times, especially in Lake Casseroya, but it seems to be amplified by 10 in the DLC.
