I know I know, this update is being put out a little early for Christmas, but as soon as the Indigo Disc DLC releases next week that's all I'll probably be talking about the rest of the month.

Today, I've put together a collection of regional variants designed by the fans based on Christmas.

1. Sinistea & Polteageist

You guys had to see this one coming! A Christmasy Regional form for Sinistea would no doubtedly take the form of a nice cup of hot chocolate

You guys had to see this one coming! A Christmasy Regional form for Sinistea would no doubtedly take the form of a nice cup of hot chocolate. I stumbled upon this fanart of them not only looking like a nice delectable cup of hot chocolate, but they also look like the seasonal Starbucks cups that everyone raves about every year. I think it'd be a fun way to introduce a new Regional form for Sinistea as a Ghost-Fire type due to how its a 'Hot' chocolate or maybe even Ghost-Fairy as Fairy types are often in relation to sugar for some reason. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if we get a hot chocolate or coffee related Sinistea eventually.

2. Applin

A season approach to Applin comes in the form of a Christmas present! The second I saw this fanart, I immediately thought of Mimics from DnD

A season approach to Applin comes in the form of a Christmas present! The second I saw this fanart, I immediately thought of Mimics from DnD. Mimics are carnivorus creatures who pretend to be inanimate objects, most particularly vessels such as chests and boxes. Applin already is sort of like a Mimic by inhabiting apples and people often mistaken Applins for apples. What would Appletun and Flapple look like as a regional form from this? Not sure, but I love the idea of a Christmas Present Applin.
