Sometimes, the Pokedex indirectly, or even directly, tells us that a Pokemon has a regional form, alternate form or evolution us as fans haven't seen quite yet. Today, I'm going over a few Pokemon with regional forms or evolutions that are confirmed or hinted at, that we haven't seen yet.
1. Gastrodon
Since Gastrodon's introduction in Generation 4, it's Pokedex entry confirms that there's many more forms of Gastrodon that us fans haven't seen yet. Come nearly every generation afterwards, the Pokedex tells us more and more about the Gastrodon family. Many entries detail how Gastrodon have different appearances depending on which sea it was born into. Other entries detail how Gastrodon used to have a shell in ancient times but in current day they evolved to no longer require a shell. It's so interesting just how much lore goes into this sea slug!2. Shellder
