In celebration of Halloween here in the United States and other Halloween related holidays in other countries, I'm going to go over a handful of fanmade regional forms that remind me of Halloween. Expect regional forms of beloved Pokemon through a Dark twist or monstrous inspiration.

The second I saw this fanart I realized just how much I wanted it and just how badly it needs to be a thing. The Flabebe line take inspiration from fairies who pretend to be plants. One thing that's associated with fairies are Fairy Rings: Also known as Witch Rings, they're Magical circles made from mushrooms. If a human is to enter a Fairy Rings, bad luck and evil will befall them ranging from inconvenient to severe. A Flabebe regional variant based on mushrooms and witches sounds like such a fun and appropriate thing to do. I REALLY would love to see this happen, there's a chance it won't as the Hatterene line already sort of represents the mushroom Fairy thing, doesn't change how cool this concept is!
