Season 3/Chapter 13: You And I

3rd Pov. 

In the Apartment building where Javier and Gabe had just gotten back to, they go up to the floor that Eleanor's apartment is on where outside of her door they hear Tripp and Eleanor speaking to each other. Though it's...very awkward. 

Tripp: Elle, I been thinking hard about this and I really think we should be a thing.

Eleanor: I'm sorry. I don't know if I feel like that. That way. Look, I just don't know. It's shown me that I'm good at helping people. I can do that here.

Tripp: But I can't do anything here! You know they don't want any of the rest of us like they want you! Would you be happy never seeing me again?

Kate goes to the door and opens it up to find Javier and Gabe after Gabe knocks on it. She hugs Javier and he hugs her back as they're just that close these days. Then again, they have always been rather close, even when she was still with David for real. 

Javier: You still pissed at me?

Kate: Just shut up while I'm hugging you.

Javier looks past Kate and notices Ava in the apartment. He nods to her and she nods back as she had gotten both Gabe and Kate out of David's place before they could potentially be taken as hostages by Joan. Soon the three enter back into the apartment and Tripp's still speaking to Eleanor. 

Tripp: So what about me?

Eleanor: Tripp, I like you. But we're not a thing. Being a part of this is important. Important to me.

Conrad looks at Javier. 

Conrad: I wouldn't go in there if I were you. They've escalated past their same old usual argument. Never heard it this bad. That's some rough shit right there. I'm gonna try to get some shut-eye.

Conrad walks off. 

Eleanor: I just can't do this now.

Javi, Gabe, Kate, and Ava approach Tripp and Eleanor.

Eleanor: Oh, hey.

Javier: Uh... Hey!

Eleanor: Tripp! Look who's here...

Tripp: Hey! Guys, uh...

Tripp tries to act cool like he wasn't just arguing with Eleanor for the past... well, however he was and Javier just goes along with it. Not wanting it to be any more awkward than it already is now.

Javier: Hey. 

Tripp: Where have you been?

Javier: You guys need some time, or...?

Eleanor looks at Javier. 

Eleanor: No, it's cool. It's fine. What is going on here in Richmond? You know more about this place than the rest of us. What do we do?

Javi starts pacing around the room. 

Javier: We just can't trust Joan. She's trying to remove David from power by pinning murders on him.

Tripp: Told you we couldn't trust them.

Kate looks at Javier.

Kate: I'm sorry about what's going on with David, but we should've gotten out of here when we had the chance. We still need to get out of here, Javi. Let's go.

Javier: There's too much unfinished business here.

Kate: Javi!

Javier stands his ground. 

Javier: Sorry, we can't leave yet.

Eleanor: Have you guys even looked out the window? Go look for yourself.
