With everything being relaxing, Pure, Andre, Lisa, Jericho and Winter were out for an off-road event with the child Gabriel found and they were in an ATV race and were in a top spot.

Pure: He's doing good on the corners, he's careful on the strightaways though.

Andre: For good reason, heard they added some extra rocks to some straightaways, not going for speed but how they handle terrain.

All of them continued until all contestants crossed the finish line. The child placed in a podium spot. All of them came over and congratulated the kid.

Pure: Not bad Kurt.

Kurt: Thank you Pure.

Andre: Figured out they had extra rocks in the straightaways.

Kurt: I felt them on the first lap, there was more on the edges though, felt like a bottleneck.

Lisa: That's why you didn't pass on the outside, you had to do it in the corners.

Kurt: It was fun tho.

Pure: Let's get to the party they have for you.

Everyone was headed to the afterparty and they were enjoying themselves. Everyone was talking, sharing some ideas for new machines and events when Pure got a ring on his system.

Pure: What's up?

Seth: It's Kurt's parents, they are trying to push for custody of him after what he went through.

Pure: -sighs- What now?

Seth: This is after they went through their parenting classes that was mandatory on his removal but there is a hiccup in their plans.

Pure: Such as?

Seth: An inspector was checking their home and seeing what they were up to.

Pure: And?

Seth: They were doubling down on the biblical thing and that's a no.

Pure: Any verdict?

Seth: Not going in their favor.

Pure: Keep me posted.

Pure went to the team.

Pure: Kurt, got news for you.

Kurt: What is it?

Pure: Your parents are trying to get back custody of you back.

Kurt: Oh....

Pure: You know we won't let that happen.

Kurt: Please, I don't want to go back.

Pure: I know you don't and I won't let that happen.

Andre: What can be done?

Pure: They are trying to go through the courts but with their inspections and such it won't hold.

Lisa: What about his Guardian?

Pure: Can contest it and win, for now, let's enjoy ourselves.

Everyone went back to the party then headed back to Destiny City after that and Gabriel saw the look on Kurt's face.

Gabriel: Hello Kurt, why the long face?

Kurt: Parents are trying to get custody back of me but they are failing.

Gabriel: Let me guess, they want you back in their beliefs?

Kurt: And make me stop doing what I love most.

Gabriel: That should never happen.

Kurt: I don't want to even see them anymore, I know they are my family but...
