Chapter Eight

Era's Pov
We all are at the shopping mall now. We came here as soon as our work at the office was over. "Hey, Shanaya I've got many outfits lets look for jewellery and shoes." I said as we entered a store. "Yeah we even need other things like perfume and all too." Shanaya said. "Guys we are going on a trip not a wedding." Adi said. "Shut up if you want to come then you're welcome or else you can stay here. We have Jayesh with us right. So its ok if you don't come. You don't have any problem Jay, do you?" I asked. "No of course not. I'll see if I can help you and accompanying you would be my pleasure." Jayesh said. "Oh, hello stop your sweet talks. And you. What is Jay ha?" Aditya said to me and Jayesh. "Simple as Aditya is Adi so Jayesh is Jay. You don't have a problem with it right Jay?" Shanaya said. "Not at all" Jayesh replied. "So you guys are now giving him nick names too, haa." Adi said in a sad tone. We noticed it but I told Shanaya to not pay more attention on Adi and just go on with our plan to make Aditya jealous. "Okay lets go then, shop." I said and everyone followed. "You don't like it right?" I asked Adi. "I'll come with you and that's final." Aditya followed us and we chuckled.
 

                          Shanaya's Pov
Era is teasing Aditya a lot. Its only me or this is happening really I don't know, but it seems like Aditya is more concerned about me. Oh shut up Shanaya don't get your hopes up you might be delusional you know Adi loves Era he told you so. I said to myself and started to focus on shopping. "Hey Era, look at this. It smells wonderful." I said to Era while showing a perfume bottle. Era smelled it as well. "Oh god, it smells really good." Era said. "Can I smell it too?" Jayesh asked. "Yeah." I said and was passing the perfume bottle to him. Era was busy looking at other perfumes and Aditya was just standing there. I was passing the bottle to Jayesh but he grab my hand and smelled the perfume. He was really closed to me. "It is indeed good." Jayesh said looking at me. "Ha, I think the same too lets buy this one." Era said and took the perfume bottle from my hand and another bottle of perfume for both of us and went to take our shampoo and soap. "Jayesh, you can go with Era to help her. I want Shanaya to help me to pick something." Adi said and Jayesh left. "What happened Adi? You want something?" I asked. "Come with me Shanaya." Adi said and grabbed my hand. We were going somewhere. "Adi , where are we going?" I asked. "Don't you trust me?" Adi said. "I do." I said. We were at a toy store. "Why are we here?" I said. "Why are you doing this?" Adi said. "What?" "Shanu, you know Era does this everytime she tries to tease me. But you, You never did that we are best friends before Era came in our lives. Why are you now helping her do that? I don't mind Era much in this thing because it is normal for her she teases me every time. But whenever, you do that it hurts me please don't do that." He was on verge of crying. "Hey please Aditya I am sorry don't cry." This emotional boy he really is a lot sensitive. I knew him I shouldn't have done that with him. He suddenly hugged. "Promise me, you will always be my best friend Shanaya." He said. "I promise. Okay now stop crying lets go back." I said. Actually we both are college best friends that is why our bond is stronger. "Wait look at that." Adi showed me a soft toy. "Oh its that teddy." We both bought teddy bear when we were at college it had best friends written on it. That time we bought only one because we didn't have enough money to buy two. We never got a chance to buy it again because we wanted same copy of that soft toy but we didn't get it. "We finally got it." We both said together and hugged each other.

We bought the teddy and went to Era and Jayesh. "I am done shopping I've took everything we need Shanaya. Come on lets go and pack now." Era said. "You two bought that teddy that is what you wanted Aditya. Its Childish and it is kind off ugly too." Jayesh said. "Don't say that its not ugly." I said. "Its way more important than you think." Aditya said. Yeah its important because it is sign of our friendship. Last time when we brought this teddy Adi was upset. His mother died that month and he was totally depressed and didn't meet any of his friends. His father called me. And I took Aditya out with me.
