AN: just a ps, I wrote this when I was younger and it probably won't make alot of sense 😭. I still have yet to finish it and I will probably be going back and changing things before writing the last chapter. I hope you enjoy it!🩷

Mayas pov:

I woke up just like any day as my alarm went off at 6:30 am. I rolled over to face the gorgeous Italian women sleeping so peacefully next to me. I admired her for a few minutes before getting up to take a shower.

After getting ready I decided it was time to head to the station. I just walked today, the station wasn't very far from our house anyway.

I made my way to my office after greeting Vic at the reception desk. The day was going by quietly, no calls so far. I was growing bored in my office so I went for a walk around the station, when I left my office I was met with the pleasant sight of a familiar, tall Italian goddess walking in. "Ciao Bella" she greeted me. "Hi my love" I smiled back. Just as I was out to open my mouth-

"Report to...."

I quickly gave Carina a kiss on the cheek and took off.

Carinas pov:

Maya had just left, I began my search for Warren. Once I found him we got to work writing down how many supplies we had, and how many more we needed. "You got this? I gotta go call Miranda back." Ben said, running up stairs. I was pretty occupied with filing out the paper work until I heard a small sniffles from behind me. I quickly snapped my head around very confused.

There she stood, a very thin, brunette, dark eyed girl. She looked to be about 9 or 10, it was hard to tell. "Hello Bella, are you with anyone?" I asked gently trying to not scare her off. She silently shook her head, whipping away tears while some where still falling. "Okay. Okay.. uhh... are you hurt?" She shook her head again. "Okay Bella why don't you follow me. Are you hungry?" She hesitated but slowly shook her head and followed behind me with her head down.

I took her to the Beanery and made her a sandwich, not having many other options. I watched as the small girl practically inhaled her food. "Slow down Bella" I laughed quietly. I heard the door open and Ben walked in. "Everything's ok she just wanted to tell me-" he cut himself off staring at the girl sitting at the table. "Uhm. Who's this?" He said gesturing to the little brunette. I gave him the "I'll explain later" look and he nodded.

I slowly walked over to her. "Bambina do you think you could tell me your name? I'm Carina and this is my good friend ben." She looked down at her hands shyly. I didn't expect her to answer, seeing that i Hadn't heard a word from her the whole time. "Eleanor" she said shyly, almost inaudible. "Well that's a very pretty name." Ben smiled.

Me and Ben continued trying to get some information out of her like, why and how she came to the station but she didn't say a word. I sat there in my own world just consumed in my thoughts. That was until I heard the trucks pull up. "Well this is... just great." I thought to myself. Wondering how the brunette would react to all the new people around her.

AN: I don't really know about this story so let me know what you guys think :). I'm not sure if I'm going to continue writing, I'm just doing it for fun 🫶🏼
