Long short story

Mayas pov:

About 3 weeks later

Today was like anyday, I woke up, got ready and left for work. When I got to work I headed to my office, but was stopped by Andy asking a million questions about my 3 babies, I also filled her in on Mila and everything that was going on.

Once I finally got into my office after me and Andy's gossip session, I revived a interesting phone call.

I needed to go home and talk to my wife, she would know what to do.

"Uhm I have to leave, can you be acting captain for today and tomorrow" I asked Andy, trying to keep my cool. I looked fine on the outside but I was really a mess on the inside.

"Uh sure?" She replied, I nodded, gathered my stuff and left.

Once I got home, I walked into the living room to find 2 of my girls snuggling. "Ciao bella, are you okay?" Carina asked, seeing the look
On my face. "Yea you look like youve seen a ghost" Ellie joked.

Carina stood up and grabbed my hands, trying to comfort me. "Someone.. wants to... adopt rylie" I stuttered.

I watched as both Ellie and carina turned pale, Tears filled Ellie's eyes.

"Really?" Carina asked, her voice full of concern.

"Yea.. they wanna meet her as soon as possible."

Soon enough Ellie's sobs filled the room, I honestly felt terrible. They where such good friends, sisters and where being torn apart.

Carina went to comfort Ellie, I went to find rylie. When I did find her she was asleep, starfished on her bed. I took a minute to enjoy the moment I may never get again, I really was going to miss her.

I slowly crept over to her bed, climbing under her sheets and spooning her. "Mm mama" she whined.

"Shh baby mommy's here" I said, playing with her beautiful blonde hair. "Mommy!" She giggled, shooting her head up. "Hi baby" i sniffled.

"Mommy what's wrong" she said poking my nose. "We need to talk baby" I said, I was really dreading the upcoming conversation. I didn't know how she would react.

After 10 more minutes of cuddling we all gathered in the living room, Ellie still crying. "Okay so ry, you know how me and mama where fostering you and you could still be adopted?" I started.

She nodded, wiping Ellie's tears. "Okay so, this very nice couple want to adopt you" I said slowly waiting for a reaction.

"Really!" She shrieked.

Me and carina shared a look, we where definitely taken back by her reaction but it was good for her.

"But I can always see you guys right?" She said

"Of course baby, you and Ellie can have as many playdates and sleepovers as you want" I smiled, ruffling her hair.

The next week went by fast, the couple met her and where very eager to take her home. They seemed very nice but we still weren't too sure, we told ry she could come over whenever and confirmed with the new parents if she wanted to come she could.

But up came the hard part, goodbye.

Please give me some suggestions for chapters because I have no new ideas 😭!

I know I didn't do much with Rylie buttt I didn't really have the motivation 😭 but she shows up later on :). Also there won't be a goodbye chapter 😭 I couldn't bring myself to write it. 🙃
